  • Patent number: 6833877
Abstract: The present invention has multiple AV/S terminals, an RF modulator, a S/AV signal converter and multiple switches. The switches connect the AV/S terminals with the RF outputs to allow the AV/S signal from the special AV/S terminal input into the RF modulator to be converted to an RF-signal input to the ANT terminal of the TV. Besides, the present invention further has an ANT input with an electronic switch and a detecting unit having a driver, which decides whether the electronic switch turns on. If the detecting unit detects no AV-signal or S-signal input from the AV/S terminals, the detecting unit first cuts off the power to the RF modulator and then makes the electronic switch turn on. The RF-signal from the ANT input is output to the RF output.

  • Publication number: 20040207561
Abstract: An indoor antenna has an antenna assembly with at least one antenna, a controlling circuit, a temperature sensor and a LCD. The controlling circuit has a microprocessor. The microprocessor has a clock and is electronically connected to the temperature sensor and the LCD. The microprocessor obtains a temperature signal from the temperature sensor and keeps time so the LCD can display the temperature and current time in addition to sending broadcast signals received by the antenna to a television. Therefore, the indoor antenna is a multiple function antenna that provides other useful information.

  • Publication number: 20040189485
Abstract: An anti-interference relay device has a receiving module and a transmitting module. The receiving module modulates a received IR signal from a remote controller and an identification (ID) code of the receiving module to an RF signal and then broadcasts the RF signal. When the RF signal is demodulated by the transmitting module, the demodulated ID code is compared with a preset ID code. If the two ID codes are matched, the demodulated IR signal is allowed to output to control an appliance, otherwise the IR signal is ignored.

  • Publication number: 20040100442
Abstract: A universal remote controller is provided. The remote controller comprises a signal processor, a power unit, a keypad, and an infrared emitter, wherein the keypad receives input keys and outputs corresponding electrical signals to the signal processor, and the signal processor processes the input signals and generates control signals to the infrared emitter, and the infrared emitter converts the control signals to radiant energy. The power unit provides the operating voltage for the signal processor. The signal processor is coupled with a non-volatile memory unit in which the parametric settings for operating the remote controller are saved. The preset values can be retained in the non-volatile memory without electric power supply, thus obviating the need to reset the preset values every time the remote controller is powered on.

  • Publication number: 20040053589
Abstract: An antenna assembly has an antenna set, a rotation assembly and a control circuit for driving the rotation assembly to rotate to adjust receiving angel of the antenna set. The control circuit can learn to adjust remote signals represented different channel number on a remote control to automatically control the receiving angle and direction of an antenna set. Thus, the antenna assembly can be suitable to general remote control to automatically adjust the antenna set to search the wireless bands. Besides, the control circuit further stores data related to the wireless bands with the corresponding channel number to be easy for user turn to specific wireless band without searching step.

  • Patent number: 6535178
Abstract: There is provided an antenna device having a learning function and capable of searching and memorizing wireless frequency bands. A control circuit is used to automatically control the receiving angle and direction of an antenna set. When the strongest frequency band is found by the antenna set, a remote control is used to control the circuit for recording the current angle and direction into a memory unit. Afterwards, a user can directly select a pre-stored band identification number to conveniently adjust the antenna device to have the best receiving angle and direction the corresponding capable of receiving the band, thereby decreasing the time to adjust the antenna.
