    Abstract: A cable modem includes an amplifier, a power module, a switch circuit, a monitor signal, a duplexer and a RF matching circuit. The switch includes a PMOS transistor and a first electronic switch. The RF matching circuit included a second electronic switch and an electronic matching device. The monitoring signal source is configured for outputting a control signal. When the monitoring signal source stops outputting the control signal, both the first electronic switch and the PMOS transistor are turned off to cut off the power to the amplifier, the second electronic switch is turned on, and conducts the RF signal received by the signal receiving/transmitting circuit to the duplexer which further conducts the RF signal to the radio frequency matching circuit.

    Abstract: An edge enhancement method and apparatus for Bayer images are provided. The apparatus stores the raw Bayer image data into a line buffer. After having directly read the raw Bayer image data from the buffer, the apparatus computes luminance characteristic values, analyzes the edge characteristic and then outputs the edge characteristic values. According to the edge characteristic values, the edges in the raw Bayer image data are enhanced. The apparatus simplifies the processing complexity of the rear-stage circuit by directly enhancing the edges in the Bayer image, and is easily combined with the post image processing mechanism. Conventionally, the raw Bayer image is converted to the RGB image or the YUV image and then the edge enhancement operation is performed. The invention reduces the computing volume and memory size. Also, performing the edge enhancement operation in advance helps to identify the interpolation direction and ease the annoying noise.

Interpolated image is converted into a chromatic domain in order to rapidly use chroma pixel values of a pixel previously processed to eliminate color noises to update the original chroma pixel values in a median filter with 3×3 area of 2D, thereby increasing the color noise filtering capability of the median filter, and a low-pass filter is used to further eliminate the uneven effect of clustered color noises filtered out by the median filter.

    Abstract: A method and system for correcting defective pixels of a color image, which first performs an interpolation on a Bayer image captured by an image sensor to thus reconstruct red, green and blue (RGB) colors corresponding to each pixel and obtain an RGB image, then converts the RGB image from the RGB domain to a chroma domain, and finally uses neighboring pixel values to correct a respective defective pixel. Because a defective pixel can be distinct from the chroma domain easier than the RGB domain, it can accurately determine whether or not a pixel to be processed is defective.

Afterwards, the image position in the coordinate system is determined. When the image position in the coordinate system is fallen inside one of the sub-ranges, the corresponding exposure compensation value of the sub-range where the image is located is given to compensate the exposure value of the image.
