Abstract: A conductive, porous gallium-nitride layer can be formed as an active layer in a multilayer structure adjacent to one or more p-type III-nitride layers, which may be buried in a multilayer stack of an integrated device. During an annealing process, dopant-bound atomic species in the p-type layers that might otherwise neutralize the dopants may dissociate and out-diffuse from the device through the porous layer. The release and removal of the neutralizing species may reduce layer resistance and improve device performance.

Abstract: A method and device for switching an operation mode of a five-level inverter are provided. The method includes: determining a first three-level operation mode as a three-level operation mode to be switched to from a five-level operation mode in a case that a PV input voltage is higher than a bridge line-line voltage command value; switching, after the operation mode is switched to the first three-level operation mode, the operation mode from the first three-level operation mode to a second three-level operation mode, in a case that a junction temperature of a switching device operating in the first three-level operation mode exceeds a first preset value; and switching the operation mode from the second three-level operation mode to the first three-level operation mode in a case that the junction temperature of a switching device operating in the second three-level operation mode exceeds a second preset value.

Abstract: An auto inflate lifebuoy includes a lifebuoy and an air inflation structure joined to the lifebuoy. In the air inflation structure is disposed a base body, thereto is connected a high pressure gas cylinder. A flexible air nozzle is disposed at the outlet of the high pressure gas cylinder. Inside the base body is disposed a top shaft, which pierces through a spring and then has its one end sticking out of the base body and connecting to a press button. The uninflated lifebuoy can be folded and stored away in proper places on board a transportation vehicle such as an aircraft or a ship. It does not take up too much space in normal times and can be quickly accessed in case of emergency. With a press on the press button, the top shaft is pushed to press the flexible air nozzle into the high pressure gas cylinder. The air inside the high pressure gas cylinder is instantly released by the flexible air nozzle and inflates the lifebuoy for use on a person to facilitate emergency escape.

The first compensating current has a first non-linearity with respect to temperature, a portion of the first non-linearity is present in the first temperature dependent current, the second compensating current includes a second non-linearity with respect to temperature, such that the second non-linearity in the second compensating current substantially cancels out the first non-linearity in the first temperature dependent current.

Abstract: A hidden handle module is adapted to a tray accommodated in a chassis. The hidden handle module includes a shaft, a handle, and first and second elastic components. The shaft is pivoted on the tray and interfered with the chassis to stop the tray moving out of the chassis. The handle is pivoted on the shaft and stopped in the tray by a stopping portion of the tray to limit the position of the shaft. The first elastic component is disposed in the tray and stops the handle moving away from the stopping portion. The second elastic portion is connected between the shaft and the tray. When the handle resists elastic force of the first elastic component and moves away from the stopping portion, the handle protrudes out of the tray by elastic force of the second elastic component, and the shaft rotates to be released by the chassis.

Abstract: A fixing mechanism which is capable of assembling an expansion card module includes a base, a latch and a resilient component. The expansion card module slidably inserts into the base. The latch pivots to an accommodating portion of the base to switch between a first position and a second position. The latch includes a pressing portion and a pushing portion connected with each other. The pressing portion presses a side of the expansion card module since the latch is switched to the first position. The pushing portion pushes an opposite side of the expansion card module since the latch is switched to the second position, so as to upwardly move the expansion card module relative to the base. The resilient component is located inside the accommodating portion to actuate the latch and drives the latch to stay at the second position.
