    Abstract: Disclosed is a method for providing background sound to a communication device and a system applying the method. The method is preferably applied to a voice communication procedure. In the meantime, a background sound is simultaneously played with a telephone call according to a user's selection or a sound schedule. In accordance with an embodiment, the steps in the method firstly include a step of receiving a call, and a step of activating a noise-suppression function and a background-sound enabling procedure. The background-sound enabling procedure is conducted to play the background sound at the time of the call based on the user's selection, or a sound schedule. In particular, the user can decide to play or not to play the background sound while phoning in the beginning. At last, the method ends the voice communication procedure with or without the background sound after hanging up the phone.

    Abstract: An auto-execution signal processing method and an apparatus performing the method are provided. That method is particularly applied to the apparatus supporting recognition of a human interface device standard. The apparatus preferably has an activation element such as a button, and it is to execute an automatic execution process by a key-activation manually or automatically as in connection with a computer system. Therefore, a predetermined purpose is met. According to a preferred embodiment, the apparatus having the auto-execution function is firstly initialized. Next, the activation element thereon is used to launch the automatic execution process. The process includes a step of driving a Finite State Machine to transfer an executable string of code to a computer system via a connection interface. After that, the executable string is compiled by an operating system in order to launch an application, such as entering a proprietary webpage.

    Abstract: A multimedia subtitle display method and the related system are disclosed. The invention provides a technology to dynamically adjust the subtitle displayed on a screen according to the real-time detection of display environment. Particularly a system detection routine is introduced into a multimedia playback system. In the beginning of playing the multimedia, a multimedia file and a subtitle file are respectively read by the routine in real time. The tags relating to the texts recorded in the subtitle file are used to determine a subtitle display sequence. The information relating to the system resources are further read by the routine. Based on the obtained display resolution, system language and the subtitle display sequence, a display mode is decided. The multimedia playback system plays the multimedia content combined with the subtitle subsequently.
