    Abstract: Improved control of via anchor profiles in metals at a contact layer can be achieved by slowing down an anchor etching process and by introducing a passivation operation. By first passivating a metallic surface, etchants can be prevented from dispersing along grain boundaries, thereby distorting the shape of the via anchor. An iterative scheme that involves multiple cycles of alternating passivation and etching operations can control the formation of optimal via anchor profiles. When a desirable anchor shape is achieved, the anchor maintains structural integrity of the vias, thereby improving reliability of the interconnect structure.

    Abstract: The present invention discloses an automatic pepper sprayer for burglarproof system has a casing, a pepper air cylinder mounted inside a lower space of the casing and a solenoid mounted inside an upper space of the casing. A spray nozzle of the pepper air cylinder is aligned with an opening of the casing that is communicated with the lower space. A lower part of a shaft of the solenoid protrudes from a bottom side to presses against the spray nozzle of the pepper air cylinder. The solenoid is driven the upper part of the shaft is attracted downwardly when the burglarproof system detects abnormal signal. At the time, the lower part of the shaft further extends downwardly to press the spray nozzle, so the spray nozzle sprays the pepper air outwardly through the opening of the casing. Therefore, the burglarproof system with the automatic pepper sprayer has an active defense capability.

    Abstract: A wind turbine with hydro-transmission has a tank filled with circulating liquid, a generator disposed beside the tank, a water pump mounted at a top of a stand and multiple blades connected to the water pump. Wind rotates the blades to drive the water pump to draw the circulating liquid up and pouring the circulating liquid over the generator to generate electricity. The generator that needs more maintenance is disposed on the ground and the water pump that needs less maintenance is mounted at the top of the stand. Therefore, construction and maintenance costs as well as footprint of the wind turbine are reduced.

    Abstract: The present invention proposed a voice coil motor and a method of using magnetic restoring force for displacement control. The voice coil motor comprises a magnetic member and an electric member. The magnetic member generates a magnetic field. The electric member includes at least a coil and a ferromagnetic component. The coil can generate thrust when current is applied, and the ferromagnetic component can generate magnetic restoring force and normal coupling force. The voice coil motor further includes a suspension member, and is characterized in that the normal coupling force can preload the suspension member to eliminate the tilt angle and free play. Through the balance between the thrust generated by the coil current and the magnetic restoring force, open-loop displacement control can be accomplished without any elastic component.
