Abstract: Device, system, and method of determining a solution scheme of a poly-algorithm solver. Some embodiments include a method of determining a solution scheme to be applied to input data by a poly-algorithm solver including a plurality of algorithms, the method including receiving a calling sequence including input values of a predefined set of parameters corresponding to the input data; based on the input values, choosing one of first and second algorithm selection models for selecting one or more of the algorithms to be applied to the input data by the solver. Abstract: A gain control circuit including a resistor with a first terminal and a second terminal; an operational amplifier with an inverting terminal thereof electrically coupled to said first terminal of said resistor; a non-inverting terminal thereof; and an output terminal thereof; an amplifier circuit for transforming the voltage change of said operational amplifier output into a substantially exponential current change; wherein the output of said amplifier circuit is electrically coupled to said inverting terminal of said operational amplifier. The above described gain control circuit is able to perform wide bandwidth input signal buffering with linearity under low voltage and low power conditions. The circuit also offers low output impedances without the need of additional buffers and hence minimizing circuit size and manufacturing costs.

The invention also relates to devices produced by the process, and to injection moulds suitable for performing the process.

Abstract: A circular knitted fabric for the manufacture of a garment includes a first portion formed of a low melting point yam and a first yarn, and a continuing second portion formed of the low melting point yarn and a second yarn. The second portion has an elastane content greater than that of the first portion. The low melting point yarn fuses with the first and second yams after heating to a temperature sufficient to melt the low melting point yarn only. The fabric, after finishing, is adapted to be cut into a garment in such a way that the first portion becomes a body of the garment, and the second portion becomes an integral elastic band-like selvedge of the garment.

Abstract: A skateboard deck is formed of several layers that are pressed and bonded together. One or more slots are formed through a plurality of the middle layers of such a deck, and an elongate rod is arranged within each slot. The elongate rods, when cured, are more rigid than the other layers of the skateboard deck, and provide impact dispersion and torsion resistance while allowing the remaining layers of the deck to retain their performance characteristics and feel.

Abstract: An electrical switch has at least two fixed contacts and a moving contact lever movable between an ON position making contact with one of the fixed contacts and an OFF position breaking contact with one of the fixed contacts. A rocker pivots in opposite directions between a first position, moving the contact lever into the ON position and a second position, moving the contact lever into the OFF position. A locking member associated with the rocker automatically locks the rocker in each of the first and second positions. The locking member is releasable to unlock the rocker upon manual movement of the locking member in a direction different from directions of movement of the rocker.

Abstract: There is provided a storage caddy that can safely store a variety of blades for a food processor. The storage caddy includes a housing and a handle to enable easy transport of the storage caddy. The housing can include a top portion, a middle portion, and a bottom portion. Within these portions can be various cutouts or grooves that can hold various food processor accessories, such as blades, disks or stem holders. In a preferred embodiment, a circular opening can be located on the bottom of the storage caddy. This opening can enable the entire storage caddy to be placed within a food processor for storage purposes. The opening at the bottom of the storage caddy can be placed over the drive shaft of a food processor and the food processor can then be closed with the storage caddy inside.

Abstract: A low-dropout regulator with a single-transistor-control providing improved transient response and stability is disclosed. The single-transistor-control provides a dynamic resistance at the output of the regulator for minimizing undershoot and overshoot, and hence improves transient response. Since the single-control transistor reduces the output resistance of the regulator, the output pole is pushed to a sufficiently high frequency without affecting stability. Therefore, the limited choice of combinations of the output capacitance and its equivalent-series-resistance is substantially relaxed.

Abstract: An apparatus and method are provided for aligning a plurality of semiconductor devices placed on a carrier. Alignment guides are located adjacent to each device in use, and arranged such that they correspond to a desired alignment of each semiconductor device. For alignment, the semiconductor devices are held by a positioning device comprising a plurality of holders, each holder being configured to generate a force to hold a semiconductor device. Actuators are also provided that are operative to move the positioning device and holders to bias the semiconductor devices against the alignment guides to orientate the semiconductor devices until they are aligned with said alignment guides.
