  • Publication number: 20110173507
Abstract: An error correction code encoder is provided. A first encoder encodes input information bits and generates first parity check bits. An interleaver interleaves the input information bits and generates permuted information bits. A second encoder encodes the permuted information bits and generates second parity check bits. The interleaver interleaves the input information bits in a window-wise manner so that the input information bits are divided into input information bit windows before being interleaved, and permuted information bit windows having the permuted information bits are generated thereafter. When the input information bit windows are grouped into groups according to different window index characteristics, the window index of each permuted information bit window has the same characteristic as the corresponding input information bit window interleaved therefrom.

  • Patent number: 7904720
Abstract: System and method for providing secure resource management. The system includes a first device that creates a secure, shared resource space and a corresponding root certificate for the shared space. The first device associates one or more resources that it can access with the shared space. The first device invites one or more other devices to join as members of the space, and establishes secure communication channels with the devices that accept this invitation. The first device generates a member certificate for each accepting device, and sends the root certificate and the generated member certificate to the device through the secure channel. These devices may then access resources associated with the shared space by presenting their member certificates. Further, members of the shared space may invite other device to join the space, and may create member certificates in the same manner as the first device.

  • Patent number: 7724163
Abstract: An apparatus and method of multi-stage network for iterative network are disclosed. The apparatus has M stages, and each stage uses N multiplexers to transmit N codeword partitions simultaneously. Every starting terminal, either the output port of memories, soft-in soft-out decoders, or multiplexers, has two paths to couple with two different multiplexers at next stage. One path connects the source to the first data port of one multiplexer; the other connects the source to the second data port of another multiplexer. The two multiplexers will be controlled with the same 1-bit signal, so each source has only one valid path to next stage. The invention can guarantee that the transmission of N data blocks is free from contention.
