    Abstract: An apparatus for measuring a remaining power of a battery unit includes a first memory unit, a second memory unit, and a processor. The first memory unit stores a first program code. The second memory unit stores a second program code. The second memory unit is accessed at a second speed that is lower than a first speed at which the first memory unit is accessed. The processor is utilized for reading the first program code from the first memory unit to execute calculation for current of the battery unit during a normal operation mode and reading the second program code from the second memory unit to execute an exception during the normal operation mode if required.

The user can set a predetermined velocity of a mobile phone and a predetermined time period to determine whether to answer the phone call while the user is driving. When the mobile phone receives the phone call, if a velocity detected from the speed detector is greater that the predetermined velocity, the timer starts to count a time. If the counted time is greater than the predetermined time period, the mobile phone answers the phone call automatically.

The air guide hood is connected to a hot air supply source for delivering hot air, and includes an air outlet for exit of the hot air. The heat conducting device is disposed at the air outlet of the air guide hood, and includes a contact wall spaced apart from and disposed below the air outlet for contacting a soldered component, and a surrounding wall extending upwardly from the contact wall and connected to the air guide hood. The contact wall and the surrounding wall cooperatively define a space for guiding the hot air. The contact wall conducts the heat to the soldered component so as to melt tin solders between the soldered component and a circuit board, thereby reducing any adverse effect on other electronic components or good chips on the circuit board.

This novel strain has unique 16S ribosomal RNA sequenced as SEQ ID NO:1 and produces amylase, protease, cellulase and lipase, fibrinolytic enzyme to show their biodegradation capacities. Further, B. amyloliquefaciens Ba-BPD1 produces the antibiotic substances, such as iturin, fengycin and surfactin, and has antimicrobial capacity for inhibiting the fungal or bacterial growth. In conclusion, the novel strain of Bacillus amyloliquefaciens Ba-BPD1 and its products can be applied in agriculture, wastewater treatment, food industry and chemical industry.

Then a mask having at least one opening associated with one of the at least one pad is set on the substrate, wherein each opening is separated into a plurality of sub-openings by a segregator to expose the pad. Subsequently, a printing process is conducted to form a conductive layer on each pad. After removing the mask, a passive device is set on the conductive layer over the pad, and a heating treatment is conducted to fix the passive device on the pad.

A footplate is provided with a pivot connector at a middle portion thereof. The pivot connector defines a pivot hole for receiving rotatably a crossbar that interconnects lower ends of the push rods. The footplate is disposed below the inclined portion of the bottom end of the bag body, and is free of a connection with the bottom end of the bag body. The footplate is coplanar with the horizontal portion when the bag body is at an upright position. When the bag body is tilted, the legs pivot away from the bag body, and the footplate is coplanar with the inclined portion of the bottom end of the bag body.

    Abstract: A system and process are provided for controlling congestion at a node of an asynchronous transfer mode (ATM) communications network. The process and system utilize fuzzy logic in determining whether or not to "admit," i.e., allocate a virtual channel (VC) for, new communications (or calls) to the node. Fuzzy logic is also use to control the rate cells are transmitted to the node for communications already "admitted," i.e., for which a VC has already been allocated. The fuzzy logic rules for bandwidth estimation in admission control may be developed from an "equivalent capacity" model. The fuzzy logic rules for adjusting cell transmission rates may be developed from a "two-threshold" congestion control model.
