  • Publication number: 20120249246
Abstract: An operational amplifier includes an input stage, an output stage, an output enable switch, an internal capacitor, a coupling effect reduction circuit. The input stage provides an intermediate signal according to an input signal. The output stage, including an output node, provides a driving signal according to the intermediate signal. The output enable switch is turned on during an output enable period, having a start time point, to drive a load with the driving signal. The internal capacitor is coupled between the input stage and the output stage. The coupling effect reduction circuit, coupled between the internal capacitor and the output node or between the internal capacitor and the input stage, is turned off during an operational period starting from the start time point, to prevent coupling charge generated when the output enable switch is turned on from affecting operational voltage levels of the input stage.

  • Patent number: 8139693
Abstract: An estimation method is provided for use in a receiver of an OFDM (orthogonal frequency division multiplexing) system to estimate the ICI (inter-carrier interference) and the noise power of a channel. Two pilot signals respectively carried by two subcarriers are received from the channel wherein the two pilot signals are adjacent and differ by a first phase angle. Another two pilot signals respectively carried by another two subcarrier are received from the channel wherein the another two pilot signals are adjacent and differ by a second phase angle. According to some embodiments of the invention, these phases are correlated with the ICI power, but are uncorrelated with the noise power. The estimation method then individually estimates the ICI power and noise power according to the first phase and the second phase.

  • Patent number: 8106894
Abstract: A projector capable of projecting a gray-level image for adjusting a color wheel delay includes a housing, a light source installed in the housing, a color wheel, an image modulator, a control circuit, and a scalar. The color wheel separates the light from the light source into color light. The image modulator modulates the color light from the color wheel and projects the color light to form an image on a screen. The control circuit connected to the image modulator controls the image modulator to operate synchronously with the color wheel. The scalar connected to the image modulator generates a gray-level image signal. The image modulator modulates the color light and forms a gray-level image on the screen by receiving the gray-level image signal from the scalar. The control circuit adjusts the image modulator to operate synchronously with the color wheel according to the gray-level image signal.
