Abstract: A file sharing system includes: a second, first user device and a cloud server. The first user device uploads a file and sharing information corresponding to the file, wherein the sharing information includes file recipient information of an application corresponding to the second user device. The cloud server receives the file and the sharing information, and transmits a first sharing message to the second user device according to the sharing information. The second user device transmits a request message to the cloud server for requesting the file according to the first sharing message. The cloud server authenticates the second user device according to the request message, and transmits a second sharing message to the application corresponding to the second user device according to the file recipient information when the authentication is successful. The second user device accesses the file according to the second sharing information of the application.

Abstract: A portable electronic device including a housing, a button assembly, a locking unit, a processing unit and a sensing unit is provided. The button assembly is disposed at an opening of the housing and includes a button, an elastomer and a switch. The button is movably disposed at the opening and configured to trigger the switch when an external force is applied. The elastomer is disposed between the button and the housing and forms a waterproof seal between the button and the housing. The locking unit is enabled to keep the button on a fixed position against the elastomer when the processing unit determines that a detection signal generated by the sensing unit is over a threshold. The locking unit is disabled when the processing unit determines that the detection signal is not over the threshold. A protection method for a portable electronic device is also provided.

Abstract: A data-access system, adapted to a plurality of Cloud storage providers, including a processing module, an access module and a storage module. The processing module receives a file, and obtains a dismantling rule according to file information. The processing module further dismantles the file into a plurality of sub-files according to a storage signal and the dismantling rule. The access module respectively detects the status of the connection of the Cloud storage providers, and the sub-files are stored to at least two of the Cloud storage providers according to the connections statuses. The storage module stores the dismantling rule and the storage records correspond to the sub-files.

Abstract: License management methods for use in a license management system are provided. The license management system includes licenses and first devices, each of which obtains one of the licenses. First, a license request from a second device is received and a license grade for each of the first devices and the second device is separately calculated based on a historical record of license usage corresponding to the first devices and the second device and an algorithm in response to the license request. Then, whether to agree the second device to obtain one of the licenses is determined according to the calculated grades and the number of remaining available licenses within the licenses.

Abstract: A power monitoring system includes a power monitoring device and a host. The power monitoring device includes: a plurality of meters, each generating an input detection signal that indicates an electric quantity inputted to a respective load; a detecting unit generating an output detection signal that indicates an electric quantity outputted to a transformer; a processing unit generating, based on the output detection signal and the input detection signals, a state indicator that indicates the presence or absence of energy theft; and a communication unit generating a communication signal that carries the state indicator. The host generates a warning output when the state indicator carried by the communication signal received thereby indicates the presence of energy theft.

Abstract: A data transmission service switch system and method are provided. The data transmission service switch system includes user equipment and a server. The user equipment is configured to generate service request information, receive a pipe message and record a pipe time, wherein the service request information includes a plurality of service requests. The server has a database and is configured to generate a calculated result according to the service request information and stored information in the database. The server further transmits the pipe message according to service mechanisms corresponding to each of the service requests which are included in the calculated result. The server further adjusts the stored information of the database according to the pipe time.

Abstract: A patterning method is provided. First, a material layer is formed over a substrate. Thereafter, a plurality of directed self-assembly (DSA) patterns are formed on the material layer. Afterwards, a patterned photoresist layer is formed by using a single lithography process. The patterned photoresist layer covers a first portion of the DSA patterns and exposes a second portion of the DSA patterns. Further, the material layer is patterned by an etching process, using the patterned photoresist layer and the second portion of the DSA patterns as a mask.

Abstract: An adaptive amplification circuit is provided, which includes an operational amplifier comprising a variable bias current source for providing a variable bias current for the operational amplifier, an equivalent circuit of the operational amplifier for receiving an input voltage and generating an output voltage according to the input voltage, and a bias control unit for generating a bias control signal to the variable bias current source according to the output voltage so as to adjust the variable bias current.

Abstract: A platform and a method for dynamic software license are disclosed. The dynamic software license platform comprises a license pool, a register manager, a user configure unit and a license manager. The register manager receives a software application from a user end. The user configure unit grants a setting permission to the user end in response to the software application, and allows the user end to submit a license setting according to the setting permission. The license manager adds the software license provided by the software supplier to the license pool, and dynamically provides the software license from the license pool unit according to the license setting.

Abstract: A driving method applicable to a display device including multiple display driving circuits, includes: the display driving circuits synchronously receiving a start pulse and generating a synchronous timing signal; a previous display driving circuit sending out a first signal to a rear display driving circuit, so that the rear display driving circuit detects and stores a signal reception delay, the display reception delay denoting a delay between the synchronous timing signal and the first signal received by the rear display driving circuit; after storing the display reception delay, the rear display driving circuit temporarily stopping receiving a system clock signal and temporarily stopping generating the synchronous timing signal; and the previous display driving circuit sending a second X signal to the rear display driving circuit to wake up the rear display driving circuit for preparing to receive a display data.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an alkali-aluminosilicate glass which contains between 47.5 and 55 wt.% SiO2, between 21 and 27.5% Al2O3; and between 12 and 16 wt.% Na2O. The molar ratio of Al2O3 and Na2O amounts to between 1:0.9 and 1:1.2. This glass is characterized by high hardness and high surface strengths after its chemical toughening, whereby the resulting extremely high scratch resistance favors its use as a display glass. A further preferred feature of this glass is its much lower viscosity for this group of glasses.

A plurality of the conical portions is integrally formed on the outer surface of the silicone case. The client includes a network interface, a software installation record database, a software audit rule database, a software release database and a central processing unit (CPU). The network interface is coupled to the client. The software installation record databases stores a software installation record of the client. The software audit rule database stores a software audit rule. The software release database stores a software release record of the client. The CPU installs an agent program to the client to collect the software installation record, and generates a software audit result of the client according to the software installation record, the software audio rule and the software release record.

The method includes the following steps: a dispatched message is received from a service-providing server through a message-dispatching server. The dispatched message includes identification information of at least one message receiver. Rule-operating and message-processing are performed to the dispatched message through the message-dispatching server after a fixed time period from a time at which the dispatched message is received. The rule-operated and message-processed dispatched message is displayed on a display unit of a mobile communication device through the message-dispatching server. The mobile communication device logs in with the identification information of the message receiver.
