    Abstract: A fingerprint-sensing array on a substrate includes the substrate, scan lines, data lines, readout lines, sub-pixels, and multiple fingerprint recognition units. Areas between adjacent scan lines and adjacent data lines define one sub-pixel with pixel electrode and a first transistor. Of the first transistor, drain electrode connects to the pixel electrode, source electrode connects to one data line and gate electrode connects to one scan line. Thus some of the sub-pixels contain fingerprint recognition units, these being a photodiode electrically connected to one readout line. The readout line passes signals generated by the photodiode to achieve fingerprint recognition function. A display panel using the array on the substrate and a display device using the display panel are also provided.

    Abstract: A thin film transistor array substrate in a touch display panel having reinforced common voltage uniformity on sub-electrodes therein includes a common electrode layer, a driving circuit, a controlling switch, a plurality of first lines, at least one second line, and at least one third line. The common electrode layer includes the spaced sub-electrodes. Each sub-electrode uses a first line electrically connect to the driving circuit and the controlling switch. The at least one second line is electrically connected to the driving circuit and the controlling switch, and when the controlling switch is turned on, the second line is electrically connected to the first lines, the driving circuit thus applying a common voltage to the sub-electrodes. A touch display panel using the thin film transistor array substrate is also provided.

The first driving circuit comprises a plurality of shift registers, and supplies phase-shifted scan signals. The shift registers are connected in cascade. Each shift register receives two clock signals from the time controller. Each shift register is a bidirectional shift register. Each shift register includes a pull-up transistor, a pull-down transistor, and a pull-down unit. The pull-down unit controls the pull-down transistor to turn on after the shift register being reset to prevent the shift register outputting an error signal.

Each of the connecting lines establishes an electrical connection between the touch sensor unit and the display driving IC. The connecting lines and the compensating portions receive a common voltage from the display driving IC during the display period. A sum of the lengths of the connecting line and the compensating portion is constant throughout the plurality of connecting lines so as to compensate for different capacitances of the connecting lines.
