    Abstract: In one embodiment, a portable storage device includes a removable device interface and a non-volatile memory having a read-only partition and a regular storage partition. The read-only partition may include a protection program for scanning data in the regular storage partition for viruses. Upon connection of the portable storage device into a computer, the protection program may be read from the read-only partition for loading and running in the main memory of the computer. The protection program may be configured to stop running in the main memory upon removal of the portable storage device from the computer. The device interface may comprise the Universal Serial Bus (USB) interface, for example.

A first metal layer is formed on the upper surface of the conductive semiconductor substrate covering the entire conductive doped regions, and contacting at least a portion of the fringe conductive doped region.     Abstract: A tailboard lock includes a main body having one side bored with two insert holes and a lateral hole crossing with the insert holes, a lock core received in the main body and having one end combined with interacting engage members, a positioning casing provided with a cover with a slide lid, a shackle having two rods connected by a curved member and having their inner surface cut with plural fitting notches, and a protective cover covered around the positioning casing and the cover. In using, the shackle is fitted around the pivot of a pickup-truck tailboard, and after the tailboard is pivotally assembled on the truck body, the two rods are inserted in the insert holes of the main body. Then, the lock core is turned to have the interacting engage members extended to fitting in one of the fitting notches of the lock rods, thus firmly locking the tailboard.

The coin operated device is installed in the door frame of a locker and comprises first and second lock cylinders respectively for the insertion of the spare key and the key. The second lock cylinder is used to lock or unlock the locker, wherein a coin is inserted into the coin operated device, and a coin triggered module lets the coin fall into a coin accommodation module; then, the key is turned to latch the lock tongue and lock the locker, and the coin accommodation module is simultaneously driven to let the coin stay in behind the coin return.

    Abstract: A locking box for valuables includes a wire winding box, a winding control assembly and a lock. The wire winding box has a fastening seat at a lower end that includes an upper fastening disk and a lower fastening disk. The winding control assembly is hinged on the wire winding box and includes a wire wheel, an elastic element and a holding board. The elastic element is held on an eccentric shaft of the holding board and hinged on one end of the wire wheel. The lock can be held inside or outside the wire winding box and has a screw at one end to couple or disengage with a detection terminal of the wire winding box and a connection bar at another end to fasten to a threading wire which chain locks valuables and is latched on or disengaged with a lock plug.
