Abstract: A method for parsing a text file defines a tree pattern and a plurality of character string patterns. A tree structure corresponding to the text file is determined according to the tree pattern, and the desired data are retrieved from the text file according to the character string patterns. The retrieved desired data are output into a storage system.

Abstract: A method for seeking a file position of a file first seeks an estimated file position corresponding to a specified time point in the file, and adjusts the estimated file position according to a preset estimation formula. The method further determines the estimated file position is an accurate file position of the specified time point in the file until a difference between the estimated file position and the specified time point is less than a preset value.

Abstract: A method for storing node information of a Huffman tree. The method creates an index of each node in the Huffman tree using a breadth first search (BFS) algorithm. The method further reads each node of the Huffman tree beginning from a root node according to a sequence of the index of each node, and stores node information of each node into an array of the Huffman tree.

Abstract: A file decoding method uses a master server to decode multimedia files. The method records statuses of a plurality of slave servers in a status table, receives a decoding request to decode the multimedia file from a web server, and selects one slave server from the status table to process the decoding request by the master server. The method further sends an Internet protocol (IP) address of the selected slave server to a web browser by the web server, sends a decoding command to the selected slave server by the web browser, decodes the multimedia file by the selected slave server, and transmits decoded data of the multimedia file to the web browser.

Abstract: A computer-based method for downloading text content and images in web pages is provided. The method includes downloading a web page as a temporary extensible markup language (XML) file in an application server, and searching the temporary XML file for predetermined information in the temporary XML file. The method further includes searching the temporary XML file for text content in the temporary XML file. Furthermore, the method includes converting a relative path of the image uniform resource locator (URL) to an absolute path by joining the URL of the web page to the front of the relative path of the image URL, and generating a local path for each image in the temporary XML file and storing each image into an application server according to the local path.

Abstract: A method for improving display speed of decoding video bit streams obtains the video bit streams from a storage system of a computer by a decoder, and decodes the video bit streams in a display block of a memory of the computer to obtain decoded images by the decoder. The method further selects an image from the decoded images by the decoder, and updates a reference image stored in a buffer block of the memory with the selected image.

Abstract: A system for digitally signing electronic documents is disclosed. The system includes a mobile device, an application server and a database, the mobile device includes a requesting module and a digest encrypting module, the application server includes an obtaining module, a digest generating module and a merging module. The requesting module is configured for sending a request for a digital signature of an electronic document to the application server; the obtaining module is configured for obtaining the electronic document from the database; the digest generating module is configured for generating a digest of the electronic document, and sending the digest to the mobile device; the digest encrypting module is configured for encrypting the digest, generating an encrypted value, and sending the encrypted value to the application server; the merging module is configured for merging the encrypted value and the electronic document. A related computer-based method is also disclosed.

Abstract: An interpersonal relationships analysis method and system obtains an album comprising a plurality of photos, and recognize faces in each of the plurality of photos. The method and system further selects one of the recognized faces, matches the selected face with portraits stored in a person management database, so as to obtain basic information of a person with the selected face from the person management database. The method and system then analyzes an interpersonal relationship of the person with the selected face according to the album, and shows the interpersonal relationship of the person with the selected face.

Abstract: An electronic document comparison system and method converts a test file into a compressed file having a specific format. A public key of the CA certificate of a user is obtained and a random key is generated using a random function. Furthermore, the compressed file is symmetrically encrypted using the random key, and the random key is asymmetrically encrypted using the public key to generate an asymmetric encryption key. A header of the compressed file is attached with the asymmetric encryption key and data length of the asymmetric encryption key.

Abstract: An electronic document comparison system and method removes cachets and noise from a test electronic document. The system and method further compares each of second minimum blocks with a corresponding first minimum block in a standard electronic document line by line, and obtains the second minimum blocks having different coordinates on each line. Furthermore, the system and method simplifies the obtained second minimum blocks having different coordinates by filtering designated objects, and marks the simplified second minimum blocks in the test electronic document.

Abstract: A processing digital noise method generates a matrix according to pixel values of pixels of a digital image, and selects a sub-matrix from the matrix. The sub-matrix has the same dimensions as a digital noise sample and includes a pixel value of a pixel selected from the digital image. The digital noise sample is represented as a matrix composed of 0 and 1. The method compares the sub-matrix with the digital noise sample to determine whether or not all values in the sub-matrix and the digital noise sample are the same. If all values are the same, the method further searches 1 from the sub-matrix for locating digital noise of the digital image, and removes the digital noise of the digital image by changing the pixel values of the digital noise from 1 to 0.

Abstract: A system and method for compressing files obtains a file to be compressed, divides the file into different sections. The system and method further compresses each section with an image compression algorithm or a text compression algorithm according a type of each section, and connects all compressed sections to obtain a compressed file.

Abstract: A method for merging separated pixel blocks into an integral image of an object is provided. The method performs binary image processing on an obtained image to obtain a binary image, finds pixel blocks in the binary image whose area is greater than a first preset value, and stores a position and a size of each found pixel block in a data structure. The method further merges two pixel blocks in the data structure if a distance between the two pixel blocks is less than a second preset value, so as to generate the integral image of the object.

Abstract: A method for filtering noise in an image filters noise pixels in a discrepant block between a current image and a background image firstly, and further filter each small block whose area is less than a preset value from the discrepant block. The method further calculates a total area of each big block whose area is greater than or equal to the preset value from the discrepant block, and adds the current image to a background list of the current image if the total area is less than another preset value.

Abstract: An image processing system and method for comparing two monochromic images A2 and B2 is provided. The system and method thins objects in the monochromic image B2 so as to generate a skeleton image B3, thickens the objects in the monochromic image A2 to generate a bold image A4, and overlays the skeleton image B3 with the bold image A4 so as to generate an overlaid image AB1. The system and method further thins the objects in the monochromic image A2 so as to generate a skeleton image A3, thickens the objects in the monochromic image B2 to generate a bold image B4, and overlays the skeleton image A3 with the bold image B4 so as to generate an overlaid image AB2. The system and method outputs the overlaid images AB1 and AB2 on a display screen.

Abstract: An image processing system and method for comparing and correcting two monochromic images A2 and B2 is provided. The system and method extracts a skeleton of objects in the monochromic image A2 to generate a skeleton image A3 and extracts a skeleton of objects in the monochromic image B2 to generate a skeleton image B3. The system and method then covers the skeleton image A3 with the monochromic image B2 to generate a covered image A4, and covers the skeleton image B3 with the monochromic image A2 to generate a covered image B4. The system and method further corrects allowable variances in the covered images A4 and B4, and outputs the covered images whose variances have been corrected.

Abstract: A system for processing downloaded data is provided. The system includes a local server, a database server, an image storage server and a plurality of client computers. The database server, the image storage server and the client computers are connected to the local server. The local server is configured for downloading data from a remote server, parsing the downloaded data and replacing URL information of each image in the downloaded data to a predetermined character string, and changing the character strings to default local URLs that can display the images, when the client computers request to access the downloaded data. A related method is also provided.

Abstract: An image retrieval method applies an application server, one or more calculating servers, and a sorting server to perform image retrieval. The application server extracts visual features of an exemplary image. The one or more calculating servers calculate similarities of available images according to the visual features of the exemplary image. The sorting server sorts the available images according to the similarities so as to obtain images similar to the exemplary image.

Abstract: A method for converting a web page sets local URLs to correspond to effective URLs of web pages, saves the local URLs and the effective URL of the web pages in the storage. The method further searches the storage for an effective URL corresponding to a local URL inputted by a user, accesses the web page in a web server according to the effective URL. The method also obtains byte streams of content in the web page, converts the image byte streams into images, converts the character byte streams into characters, and generates a local web page comprising the images and the characters.

Abstract: An image comparison method compares a reference image with a test image. Each image includes objects and a background. The method generates a skeleton image of the reference image. The skeleton image of the reference image is compared with the test image so as to determine if the reference image have more objects or objects parts than the test image. Similarly, a skeleton image of the test image is generated. The skeleton image of the test image is compared with the reference image so as to determine if the test image have more objects or objects parts than the reference image.
