Abstract: A method for monitoring Web page alterations is provided. The method includes the steps of setting system working time; determining whether current time is within the system working time; reading an XQuery document from an application server if the current time is within the system working time; obtaining a Uniform Resource Locator in the XQuery document and linking to the Uniform Resource Locator; determining whether a Web page corresponding to the Uniform Resource Locator can be accessed; analyzing contents of the Web page to identify target contents by invoking the XQuery document if the Web page corresponding to the Uniform Resource Locator can be accessed; and monitoring whether the target contents of the Web page have been changed.

Abstract: A computer-based method for requesting a Web service from a network server is disclosed. The method includes the steps of: receiving a service request from a user computer; invoking a corresponding Web service from a network server; determining whether the Web service is accessible in the network server; loading configuration information of the Web service if the Web service is accessible; generating a simple object access protocol (SOAP) request according to the configuration information, and sending the SOAP request to the network server for process; collecting response information of the network server, generating processing results, creating an instance of a user-defined class, assigning the processing results to variables in the instance of the class, and returning values of the variables to a business server. Abstract: An exemplary method for processing a workflow form is provided. The method includes: connecting a workflow engine and an business sub-system; receiving a data form processing request from a client; obtaining workflow information from the workflow engine according to the data form processing request; obtaining business information from the business sub-system according to the data form processing request; establishing a worklist for storing items according to the workflow information, business information, and personal data of the client; selecting an appropriate data form and generating a workflow form by storing an open item in the data form; and processing the workflow form by signing the workflow form or rejecting the workflow form. Abstract: A method for monitoring print jobs is disclosed. The method includes the steps of: capturing print jobs submitted by client computers; checking the print jobs captured according to predetermined printing tactics that specifies requirements of a valid print job, in order to determine valid print jobs; recording information of all the captured print jobs, and saving the information in the database server; and instructing the printers to execute the valid print jobs. Abstract: A method for downloading HTML formatted Web pages is provided. The method includes the steps of writing a URL of a Web page to be downloaded to an XQuery script; analyzing the XQuery script to obtain the URL of the HTML Web page and saving the downloaded Web page in a database as the local Web page; analyzing the contents of the local Web page to obtain target contents; converting the relative URLs of all image files to the absolute URLs; downloading all the image files according to the absolute URLs; replacing the absolute URLs of the image files with an local image file path; converting the relative URLs of the embedded links to the absolute URLs of the embedded links; saving all the converted absolute URLs in the database, creating identifiers; replacing the converted absolute URLs of the embedded links with an embedded link local path. Abstract: A system for managing tasks through electronic portable devices is disclosed. The system comprises at least one electronic portable device (1), a network server (3) coupled to the at least one electronic portable device (1) through a network, and a database (5) connected to the network server (3). The network server (3) comprises: an adapting module (100) for retrieving device spec of the electronic portable device (1), and sending and receiving data between the electronic portable device (1) and the network server (3); a verifying module (102) for verifying a username and a password sent from the electronic portable device (1); an obtaining module (104) for obtaining a list of tasks from the database (5) according to the username, and obtaining details of each task; and an updating module (106) for updating the database (5), and deleting the tasks which have been managed by the user of the electronic portable device (1) from the list of tasks. Abstract: The present invention provides a method for searching Web sites for data. The method includes the steps of: reading search conditions; converting the search conditions into extensible markup language (XML) search queries; parsing the XML search queries and accordingly creating XML commands; creating a command queue; defining attributes of the XML commands; adding the XML commands onto the command queue according to the XML commands' respective attributes; executing the XML commands to search for specified data on the Web sites; determines whether any specified data have been found on the Web sites; and downloading Web pages containing the specified data if the specified data are found on the Web sites. Abstract: A method for searching and filtering Web pages is provided. The method includes the steps of: generating connection commands according to a search string transmitted from a client computer (50); generating a hyperlink list by executing the connection commands; generating extraction commands; extracting integrated links related to the search string in each hyperlink in the hyperlink list by executing the extraction commands; determining whether the extracted integrated links exist in a database (20) according to titles of the integrated links; deleting the integrated links that already exist in the database; downloading Web pages of the integrated links that do not exist in the database; determining whether there are any information irrelevant to the search string in the downloaded Web pages; and filtering out the information which are irrelevant to the search string. Abstract: A system for digitally certifying and checking data of a project is provided. The system includes a web server (10), an application (20) server, and a validation server (30). The web server is configured for visiting and operating the application server. The application server is configured for uploading data related to the project, configuring a certifier group, integrating the data into a file package, guiding and helping users including operators, certifiers and project managers to digitally sign the file package, sending the file package digitally signed by each responsible party to the validation server, and receiving validation results from the validation server. The validation server is configured for validating various digital signatures of the signed file package to determine whether each of the digital signatures is valid.
