  • Patent number: 6955109
Abstract: An electric punch includes a plurality of pushing units mounted to the shaft which is driven by a motor. Each pushing unit includes a ring rotatably received in a pushing member and each ring has an eccentric polygonal hole through which the shaft fixedly extends. The pushing members are received in movable frames and two opposite sides of each pushing member are slidably in contact with two upright walls of the movable frame corresponding thereto. A plurality of punch units each include a punch frame and a punch member whose front end is used to punch sheets and rear end of the punch member extends out from the punch frame and is in contact with the pushing member. The pushing member is moved up and down in the movable frame by the rotation of the rings when the shaft rotates and the movable frames move to push the punch members to punch the sheets.

  • Patent number: 6877426
Abstract: A stamping device includes a printing member which has two pivot shafts pivotably connected to two insides of a casing and a plurality of teeth are arranged along a semi-circular protrusion on two ends of the printing member. The two pivot shafts extend through two slots of a support frame which includes two racks on two insides thereof so that when the printing member is lowered when pressing the casing downward, the teeth movably engage with the racks and the printing member rotates 180 degrees so that the printing face faces downward to stamp on document.

  • Patent number: 6874410
Abstract: A pressing mechanism for a paper cutting device includes a frame with a U-shaped bracket connected thereto and a threaded rod extends through two extensions of the bracket. A wheel is connected to a top end of the threaded rod. A sleeve is threadedly mounted to the threaded rod and includes two rack portions. Two link assemblies each have a first plate and a second plate which is connected to one of two ends of the first plate. The other end of each of the first plates has teeth which are engaged with the rack portions of the sleeve. The two first plates are pivotably connected to the frame and the two second plates are pivotably connected to a pressing member. The sleeve is movable along the threaded rod by rotating the threaded rod and the two first plates are driven to pivot so as to move the pressing member up and down.

  • Publication number: 20050056133
Abstract: A punch pin includes three terminal ends extending from a periphery of an end of the body and each terminal end has a tip portion located between two cutting edges, A groove is defined in the end having the terminal ends and enclosed by the three terminal ends. The three respective tip portions are located at three parallel planes which are perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the cylindrical body. The groove includes an upper curved surface, a curved area and three inner surfaces of the three terminal ends. The upper curved surface connects the curved area. The peak force for punching a stack of paper is less than conventional punch pin and the resistant force coming from the deformation of the paper being punched out.

  • Publication number: 20040111895
Abstract: A cutting knife includes a holder with a slot defined in a side thereof and a plurality of recesses defined in one of two sides of the slot. A base member is slidably engaged with the slot and a blade is connected to the base member. The base member has a wall in which a spring member is received. The spring member includes a protrusion which extends through an opening defined in the wall and is engaged with one of the recesses. A spring is biased between an inside of the wall and a reverse side of the protrusion of the spring member so as to provide a force to engage the protrusion in the recess. Two end portions of the spring member contact against the insides of the wall. An operation member is slidably mounted to the wall and includes a wedge-shaped notch which may push the protrusion downward to disengage from the recess.

  • Patent number: 6662991
Abstract: A stapler includes a base with a document guide connected to a top thereof and an arm and a magazine casing are respectively pivotably connected to a connection frame on the base. The document guide includes a first protrusion and a second protrusion. At least one groove is defined in an outer periphery of the second protrusion. A rotatable member is rotatably mounted to the second protrusion and includes at least one rib which is disengagably engaged with the at least one groove. A support portion is connected to the rotatable member so that when the rotatable member is rotated, the support portion is switched below the magazine casing which is stopped by the support portion such that the jammed staple can be ejected by pushing the arm downward.
