    Abstract: An LCD panel including a first substrate, multiple horizontal and vertical conductive lines, support pads to form first protrusions, a second substrate, a main spacer, a compensation spacer, and a liquid crystal layer is provided. The main spacer and the compensation spacer are in sliding contact with the first protrusions in the horizontal or vertical direction in a plane of the LCD panel, and the compensation spacer is disposed around the main spacer and corresponding first protrusions are next to the compensation spacer. In the horizontal or vertical direction, the main spacer is partially contacted with the first protrusion to obtain a reduced contacting area, and the compensation spacer is partially contacted with the adjacent first protrusion to obtain an increased contacting area. The reduced contacting area between the main spacer and the first protrusion is equal to the increased contacting area between the compensation spacer and the first protrusion.

The pads and the pixel array are electrically connected. The first and the second switching devices are at the outside of the pads. Each first switching device is electrically connected to one of the pads and has a source, a drain, and a gate electrically connected to the source and the pad. Each second switching device is electrically connected to two adjacent first switching devices and has a gate, a source, and a drain. The source and the drain are electrically connected to the drain and the source of the adjacent first switching device, respectively.

In each of the pixel structures in an ith row, a control end and a first end of the first switch device are respectively coupled to the ith scan line and one of the data lines; a control end and a first end of the second switch device are respectively coupled to the (i?1)th scan line and a second end of the first switch device. The coupling capacitor is coupled between the second end of the first switch device and a second end of the second switch device.

    Abstract: A display apparatus and the driving method thereof are provided. The display apparatus includes a display panel and a gate driver electrically connected to the display panel. The display panel has N scan units. Here, N is a positive integer, and each of the scan units has a first scan line and a second scan line. The gate driver provides N gate control signals to the scan units. The i-th gate control signal corresponds to the i-th scan unit, and i is less than N. When the i-th gate control signal and the (i+1)-th gate control signal are simultaneously enabled, the pixel elements corresponding to the first scan line and the second scan line of the i-th scan unit are simultaneously scanned. When the i-th gate control signal is enabled, the pixel elements corresponding to the first scan line of the i-th scan unit are scanned.

Each second pixel includes a second switching element, a third pixel electrode and a fourth pixel electrode electrically connected to the second switching element. The first and the second switching elements electrically connect corresponding scan lines and data lines. A pattern of the first pixel electrode is symmetrical to a pattern of the fourth pixel electrode with respect to an extending direction of the scan lines. A pattern of the second pixel electrode is symmetrical to a pattern of the third pixel electrode with respect to the extending direction of the scan lines.

    Abstract: A pixel structure includes a backup thin film transistor with a float gate electrode or a float drain electrode and a working thin film transistor. When the pixel of the working thin film transistor does not work, the backup thin film transistor replaces the working thin film transistor to drive the pixel. The method of repairing the pixel is to cut off the connection between the drain electrode of the working thin film transistor and the pixel electrode, and then to connect the main gate electrode or the drain electrode of the backup thin film transistor to the gate electrode or the drain electrode of the working thin film transistor, such that the backup thin film transistor can replace the working thin film transistor to drive the pixel electrode.
