    Abstract: A touch panel includes a substrate, a catalytic layer, peripheral traces, marks, first cover layers and second cover layers. The catalytic layer is formed on the peripheral area of the substrate, and the peripheral traces are formed on the catalytic layer. Each peripheral trace has a side wall and a top surface. The marks are formed on the catalytic layer, and each mark has a side wall and a top surface. The first cover layers cover the top surfaces of the peripheral traces, and the second cover layers cover the top surfaces of the marks. Each of the first cover layers and the second cover layers includes metal nanowires. The manufacturing method of the touch panel and a roll sheet of touch sensors are also disclosed.

    Abstract: A pipelined analog-to-digital converter (ADC) using a multiplying digital-to-analog converter (MDAC) and two sub-range analog-to-digital converters (sub-range ADCs) is disclosed. The MDAC samples an analog input and performs multiplication on the sampled analog input based on control bits. The first sub-range ADC provides the MDAC with the control bits. The second sub-range ADC is coupled to the MDAC for conversion of a multiplied signal output from the MDAC. The first sub-range ADC samples the analog input to generate the control bits for the MDAC as well as pre-estimated bits for the second sub-range ADC. The second sub-range ADC operates based on the pre-estimated bits and thereby a first section of digital bits are generated by the second sub-range ADC. A second section of digital bits are provided by the first sub-range ADC. The first and second sections of digital bits represent the analog input.

    Abstract: An atmospheric-pressure plasma jet generating device is disclosed, which comprises a housing, a discharge tube, an air inlet, and an outlet. The air inlet is connected to the outlet and the discharge tube. The discharge tube includes an internal electrode, a first dielectric material, and an external electrode. The first dielectric material is placed between the external electrode and the internal electrode, and there are some channels between internal electrode and first dielectric tube. An external power source is electrically connected to the internal electrode and the external electrode to generate a high electric field within the discharge tube. When the working gas flows through the discharge tube from the air inlet, the plasma is generated by the high electric field, and then flows out through the outlet. The present invention can generate non-thermal atmospheric-pressure plasma jet for biomedical processing.

    Abstract: A touch display device and a method for driving the same are provided. The touch display device includes a display panel and a touch panel. In the method, the touch display device provides a source output signal and outputs a plurality of pixel voltages during an enable period of the source output signal to drive the display panel. The touch display device periodically reduces the enable period of the source output signal according to a horizontal synchronization signal corresponding to a turned-on sequence of each row of pixels, so as to establish a touch sensing period. Based thereon, the touch sensing circuit scans the touch panel during the touch sensing period that does not overlap with the enable period of the source output signal, so as to obtain sensing signals for accurately indicating electrical variations of the touch panel.

    Abstract: A flip-chip packaging diode with a multichip structure includes at least two flip-chips arranged with an interval apart from each other and horizontally disposed on the top of a lower guide plate, and each flip-chip has a bottom electrically connected to the lower guide plate and a top having a conductive layer. An insulating material is filled between the two flip-chips and at the outer periphery of the two flip-chips, so that the conductive layers at the tops of the two flip-chips are isolated to form a first electrode and a second electrode for electrically connecting an external circuit.
