  • Publication number: 20090038613
Abstract: A waterproof structure of a respiratory tube is provided. The waterproof structure comprises a hollow body and a lid. The hollow body has a first opening end and a second opening end opposing to the first opening end. The lid pivots onto the hollow body at the first opening end. Before the lid is immersed into liquid, the gravity of the lid can keep the lid at a certain position so that the respiratory tube is well-ventilated. After a part of the lid is immersed into the liquid, the buoyancy provided by the liquid forces the closing surface thereof to substantially seal the first opening end and prevent liquid from going into the tube.

  • Patent number: 7458134
Abstract: A constriction assembly that has a regulator on two ends of head bands and includes a casing seat, the regulator and a pad. By pressing protruding buttons of the regulator support arms formed on both sides of the buttons are displaced and driving turning bodies to disengage the chuck groves from the projection pieces of the band so that the band can reach a loosened state. In contrary, the band can be constricted by pulling the ends of the band while the protruding buttons are free of pressure.

  • Publication number: 20080257342
Abstract: A valve mounted on a dive mask is disclosed. The mask has a closed window frame, a soft skirt extending rearward from the window frame for defining a space between itself and the face of a diver wearing the mask, and one or two windows defined by the window frame. The valve is flexible, tubular and has a first opening at one end in communicating with the space, and a second opening at the other end. The second opening is blocked in an inoperative position and is adapted to open to expel water or air therethrough by increasing pressure in the space or by pressing both sides of the valve.

  • Publication number: 20080196714
Abstract: In one embodiment a dive mask for use in swimming, diving including, or one of other water sports activities, includes a flexible skirt adapted to sealingly cover the face; a frame mounted around a front opening of the skirt for covering the eyes and including one or two lenses fitted therein; a flexible strap interconnecting two ends of the frame, the strap adapted to hold the dive mask on the head; and a nose enclosure formed with the skirt and disposed under, the nose enclosure being adapted to sealingly cover the nose. The nose enclosure includes a flexible portion at either side such that a pressing of the flexible portions with the hand, as a first step of “ear pressure equalization” act prior to diving, will stretch same substantially without causing movement of a peripheral edge of the skirt.

  • Publication number: 20080184466
Abstract: A water introduction mechanism (either a slit or hole) on the skirt, frame or lens of the mask, which can be opened and closed while the mask is worn to introduce water to wash out fog on the lens. The incoming water may be directed towards the lens by a tab. The water introduction mechanism can be at a variety of different locations on the mask. Where the water introduction mechanism is located on a soft part of mask, (such as the skirt), under normal circumstances, ambient water pressure will prevent the hole from opening. However, under additional external force from the user, the soft part will deform and allow water to enter the mask. The incoming water washes away the fog vapor. The user then ceases applying external force to the soft part, and the hole closes. The water introduction mechanism on the soft part of the mask can also be in the form of a “zipper” or “faucet” type device to selectively admit water into the mask interior while it is one the user's face.

  • Publication number: 20080134480
Abstract: An adjustable buckle includes a base including a top column; a hollow rectangular sliding plate slidably put on the column and including inclined front and rear ends each falling into a dip between two of a series of ratchet teeth of either strap, two inclined sides, and a resilient assembly secured on the sliding plate; and a cover including two parallel side walls, front and rear struts each with the strap partially wrapped around, and two latches each on the side wall. Pressing the latches will lift the sliding plate with the resilient assembly being compressed, disengage the front and rear ends with the dip, and enable the straps to slide through front and rear openings of the cover, and releasing the latches will cause the sliding plate to fall due to the expanding resilient assembly, and cause the front and rear ends to fall into the dip.
