  • Publication number: 20080108317
Abstract: A signal relay apparatus, method, application program, and computer readable medium adapted for wireless network are capable of saving power consumption due to failure of adjusting amplifying gain dynamically and solving the difficulty of demodulation since noise is also amplified during relay. For wireless access network, the present invention decreases the transmission power of mobile devices so that the battery of the mobile devices may keep working longer and the interference inside is reduced.

  • Publication number: 20080084830
Abstract: A communication apparatus, a method, and a computer readable medium for adjusting the number of communication identifications (CID) are provided. The communication apparatus comprises a database, a quality of service (QoS) scheduler, and a CID adjustment engine. The database stores first service information and second service information which respectively comprise a corresponding CID. The QoS scheduler determines whether an operating load thereof reaches to a threshold value. If yes, the CID adjustment engine unifies the CIDs of the first service information and the second service information. The QoS scheduler schedules the first service information and the second service information in response to the unified CID.

  • Publication number: 20080031181
Abstract: A wireless communication system, a method, and a tangible machine-readable medium thereof for transmitting data based on a frame structure of a multi-hop relay standard are provided. The wireless communication system comprises a base station (BS), a relay station (RS), and a mobile station (MS). The frame structure comprises a relay station map (RS-MAP) frame and an MS sub-frame. The RS-MAP frame describes the frame structure. The MS sub-frame is used for transmitting the first data between the BS and the MS and is used for transmitting a second data between the RS and the MS according to the content of the RS-MAP frame. A part of the second data is the same as the first data.

  • Publication number: 20070286297
Abstract: A method for co-channel interference suppression in Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) systems with multiple receiving antennas is provided, wherein the co-channel interference (CCI) in different directions is suppressed by the spatial technique provided by the antenna arrays, and the interference to a desired carrier caused by other sub-carriers is also taken into consideration, that is, the interference of other sub-carriers is cancelled by means of a multistage interference cancellation, thereby the performance for interference suppression is improved.

  • Publication number: 20070133595
Abstract: A method for a wireless communication system and a system adapted for wireless communication are provided. The wireless communication system comprises a base station, a first terminal apparatus and a second terminal apparatus. The base station determines whether the first terminal apparatus and the second terminal apparatus conform to a condition. If yes, the base station transmits a datum to the first terminal apparatus, and requests the first terminal apparatus to transmit the datum to the second terminal apparatus.

  • Publication number: 20070133494
Abstract: A method for efficient channel access by using partial error detection code is utilized in a centralized wireless communication system. The partial error detection code is derived from the error detection codes of the transport layer to act as the reference of the error detection of a protocol data unit. This method performs a data validation test in a data-link layer. If an error is found, the proceeding data transmission will be stopped immediately to avoid unnecessary waste of the bandwidth resource of a web channel.

Abstract: A method of generating key data for successful communications during a network link, which is applied in two information devices with wireless fidelity (WiFi) wireless modules. The two information devices use identical non-private key data (SSID and WEP private key) to achieve an initial connection, and exchange their own unique network card ID numbers. The first information device and the second information device both generate new key data by utilizing the first unique ID number and the second unique ID number to ensure security of the network link.
