    Abstract: A ratchet control structure comprises a first receiving portion for receiving a ratchet; a second receiving portion for receiving a braking block; and a third receiving portion for receiving a switch unit. The wall of the third receiving portion has a first trench and a second trench. One end of the switch unit in the third receiving portion is formed with a concave portion and a through hole. The concave portion receives one end of a positioning rod. Another end of the positioning rod is received in a sliding trench of the braking block; and a control element is received in the through hole. By moving the switch unit, the positioning rod and control element will control the rotation direction of the ratchet. The conductive wire includes a steel ball, a spring and a top rod.

    Abstract: A quick release bit socket assembly includes a socket and a screw bit is removably inserted in a first recess in a first end of the socket. A second recess is defined in a second end of the socket and a passage is in communication between the first and second recesses. A push rod includes a head and a shank which extends through the first recess, the passage and is inserted in the second recess. A spring is mounted to the shank and biased between the head and an inner bottom of the first recess. The screw bit can be quickly pushed out from the second passage by pushing the push rod toward the screw bit.

Each tooth of said ratchet wheel is chamfered at one end thereof far away from the locating block; and a reinforcing bevel is provided in the valley between roots of another ends of each two adjacent teeth of said ratchet wheel adjacent to said locating block. Or each tooth is chamfered at two ends and thus no bevel slop is formed.

The engaging wheel includes first teeth defined in an outer periphery thereof and the pawl includes second teeth which are engaged with the first teeth. The first teeth each have a peak portion and a root portion. The peak portion includes a first reinforcement surface connected between two sides of the first teeth, and the root portion includes a second reinforcement surface connected between respective one of the two sides of the two first teeth between which the root portion is located. The reinforcement surfaces reduce wearing of the first and second teeth and increase the structural strength of the first and second teeth.

    Abstract: A socket tool includes a handle and a socket is movably mounted to one of two ends of the handle. A groove and a plurality of notches are defined in the outer periphery of the end of the handle. The socket has two passages defined through a wall of the socket and an angel is defined between each one of the passages and a radius of the socket. A positioning pin extends through the wall of the socket and is engaged with the groove of the handle. The two passages are located at two different longitudinal positions from an end of the socket. A bead and a spring are respectively received in each of the passages, and one of the two beads is engaged with one of the notches by moving the socket on the end of the handle. Each of the two beads engaged with the notch decides the direction that the socket drives an object accommodated in the socket.
