    Abstract: An electronic device and its stylus pen having an FM antenna functionality are provided. The stylus pen includes a pen tip, a penholder, and a metal element spirally surrounding the penholder from a first end portion to a second end portion of the penholder. The pen tip is made of conductive material, the penholder is made of insulated material, and at least one end portion of the metal element is electrically coupled to the pen tip. When the pen tip is inserted into an antenna jack defined in the electronic device, the metal element of the stylus pen is electrically coupled via the pen tip to a radio receiving circuit arranged inside the electronic device. The metal element is thereby enabled to act as an FM antenna and is enabled to receive wireless signals from the radio receiving circuit and transmit wireless signals to the radio receiving circuit.

    Abstract: A control chip for power saving is provided. The control chip is configured to operatively receive a first voltage and a first bias voltage. The control chip includes a microcontroller unit and a low power module. The low power module is coupled to the microcontroller unit. The microcontroller unit receives the first voltage to control the operation of at least one component under an operating mode and to stop receiving the first voltage under a power saving mode. The low power module operatively receives the first bias voltage. When the microcontroller unit switches from the operating mode to the power saving mode, the low power module operatively generates a first control signal to cause the microcontroller unit to stop receiving the first voltage. When the low power module detects a trigger signal, the power module operatively generates a second control signal to cause the microcontroller unit to continue receiving the first voltage.

    Abstract: A method for increasing a signal to noise ratio of a capacitive touch device and a capacitive touch device and a touch panel using the same are provided. The capacitive touch device includes a first sensing electrode, a second sensing electrode, a touch detector, a resonant inductor and a detection signal output circuit. An output terminal of the detection signal output circuit outputs a detection signal, such that the resonant inductor and an equivalent capacitor of the first sensing electrode are resonant, and the first sensing electrode receives a resonant sinusoidal wave. When an electric field signal detected by the detecting terminal of the touch detector is smaller than a preset value, it is determined that the capacitive touch device is touched.

The temperature compensation module generates the temperature compensation coefficient dynamically such that the frequency of the clock approaches a target frequency and does not substantially vary with the temperature.

The method includes: obtaining a plurality of pixels in an image; calculating a first weight of a high pass filter and a second weight of a first filter according to the pixels, and the first filter is a convolution of the high pass filter and a low pass filter; generating a sharpening filter according to the high pass filter, the first weight, the first filter and the second weight; and executing a sharpening operation on the pixels according to the sharpening filter. Accordingly, a sharpened image has better vision effects.

The luminance compensation unit adjusts the original luminance value according to a non-linear function to generate a compensated luminance value. The mapping unit generates adjusted pixel data according to the compensated luminance value. The non-linear function at least includes a first monomial function, which has a base part associated with an inverse value of the original luminance value and an exponent part associated with the mask value.

    Abstract: A rotor core assembly for a reluctance motor and a manufacturing method of the same, wherein the rotor core assembly has multiple silicon steel laminations and a nonmagnetic material. The silicon steel laminations are axially stacked, and each silicon steel lamination has multiple magnetic flux sections. Each magnetic flux section has multiple arcuate grooves and multiple salient poles. The arcuate grooves are concentrically arranged. The salient poles protrude into the grooves. The nonmagnetic material is disposed in the grooves, and is wrapped around the salient poles, which enables the silicon steel laminations to remain securely assembled together. The salient poles are disposed in the grooves to avoid ruining the magnetic line of force. As a result, the rotor core assembly can keep rigidity of the assembled silicon steel laminations, and can keep the integrity of the magnetic circuit.
