    Abstract: A capacitive touch panel has multiple electrode couples formed on a substrate. Each electrode couple has multiple first electrodes and multiple second electrodes. Each of the first electrode and the second electrode has three traces. Each end of one of the three traces is connected to one end of one of the other two traces. The three traces of the first electrode and the three traces of the second electrode are alternately arranged. Given the foregoing layout of the electrode couples, the first electrodes and the second electrodes have symmetrical capacitance values and resistance values. Accordingly, the capacitive touch panel has an enhance signal-to-noise ratio and an anti-interference capability.

The transceiver comprises an auto-negotiation circuit, a timing recovery circuit, an interference cancellation circuit and an equalizer. If the transceiver operates as a slave transceiver, it executes a first stage and a second stage during the start-up process. In the first stage, the transceiver performs channel estimation to generate a channel estimation value, presets the parameters of the equalizer according to the channel estimation value, and trains the timing recovery circuit and the equalizer; in the second stage, the transceiver trains the interference cancellation circuit.

The controller configures the values of the registers of the first scrambler according to the first combination number, the second combination number, and/or a difference between the first and the second combination numbers.
