    Abstract: Methods of flocking and various embodiments of head-up displays for a vehicle are contemplated. Some embodiments of a head-up display unit can include a display unit configured to display an image onto an observation surface of a vehicle and trim structure located about a periphery of the display unit. The trim structure can have an exterior surface configured to be exposed to an interior compartment of the vehicle. A substantially uniform and continuous adhesive layer can be located directly on and in contact with an entire extent of the exterior surface. Flocking can be applied by an air gun such that flocking is dispersed directly on and in contact with the adhesive layer and such that no backing layer exists between the flocking and the exterior surface. Some embodiments of the methods of flocking can include spraying an adhesive and spraying flocking onto trim for a head-up display device.

M is a positive integer greater than N. The output circuit outputs the M lines of pixel data according to an output timing. The timing control circuit determines a receiving timing according to the output timing and the scaling factor to generate the scaling timing control signal, and determines a read timing according to the receiving timing to generate the read timing control signal.

    Abstract: A system is disclosed for correcting a color of light being generated by an LCD image system having an LED and an LCD glass component that is illuminated by the LED. A plurality of color correction filters are constructed, with each providing a predetermined, differing color shift to light being output by the LCD glass component, based on a measured color of the light being output from the LCD glass component. Each of the color correction filters is constructed based on a known range of color variations that may be present in a color of the light being output from the LCD glass component. Each filter provides a color shift that shifts the color of the light being output from the LCD glass component from outside a predetermined target color area back into the predetermined target color area.

The granulated powder was achieved by screening through a combination of sieves to achieve the desired granule size distribution. The granulated powder relies on the thermal bonding to maintain its shape and structure. The granulated powder contains no organic binder and can be stored in a radioactive or other extreme environment. The granulated powder was pressed and sintered to form a dense compact with a higher density and more uniform pore size distribution.

In a readout circuit of the digital camera, a black reference for black level calibration and an analog-to-digital conversion reference voltage for analog-to-digital conversion are generated from reference voltages provided by one voltage ladder. Device-to-device variations of sensor characteristics are considered when selecting the reference voltage for generating the black reference, and, a gain between the selected reference voltage and the black reference varies with a gain of a programmable gain amplifier coupled after a compensator. The compensator subtracts the black reference from a sensed signal that the readout circuit receives from an image sensor of the digital camera.
