  • Publication number: 20060076410
Abstract: A card reading device includes an insulating housing, at least a set of conductive terminals, a rear wall, and a shielding member. The rear wall includes a metal plate and a plastic plate that is formed by insert molding, which has a stable configuration and is unlikely to shake or distortion. The rear wall reliably presses and contacts with a top edge of a soldering portion of the conductive terminals, which is easier to be soldered so as to avoid soldering skipping or solder voiding. Moreover, the shielding member presses a top edge of the rear wall so as to make the rear wall securely press the soldering portion. Furthermore, the rear wall includes a plurality of openings therein, which make the gas circulate so as to avoid solder voiding. Thereby the qualified ration is improved.

  • Publication number: 20050211349
Abstract: A process of manufacturing a tooth of a dipper bucket of a shovel is disclosed. The tooth has a larger joining portion coupled to the dipper bucket and a sharp portion. The process comprises cooling the molded tooth in a furnace at about 920° C., suddenly cooling the tooth in a fluid contained in the furnace, heating the tooth at about 460° C., slowly cooling the tooth in the air, supporting the tooth in the furnace with the joining portion immersed in the fluid and the sharp portion exposed in the air, and producing the finished tooth. The teeth are less brittle and more ductile while having a sufficient hardness. The teeth can dig further into earth for increasing load of the dipper bucket per shovel.

  • Patent number: 6457982
Abstract: A connector interference prevention grounding mechanism comprises a circuit board with a connector on one side. The connector has a plurality of slots, each slot contains a sleeve internally. One metal board each is on top and bottom of the connector. Internal to the side slots on both end of the connector has a grounding sleeve. A C-shaped spring tongue is in the middle of the grounding sleeve. A convex point is on the bottom of the metal board and beneath the C-shaped spring tongue. Therefore by the C-shaped spring tongue of the grounding sleeve contacting the convex point of the metal board, the grounding sleeve also connects to the circuitry of the circuit board so that the electromagnetic wave and static electricity absorbed by the metal board can be conducted to the circuit board through the grounding sleeve to eliminate the electromagnetic wave and static electricity.

  • Patent number: 6402532
Abstract: A pressing bar for connecting legs of connectors includes a connector with a plurality of slots. A sleeve is inside each slot with a connecting leg that is soldered on a connecting point of a circuit board. The connecting legs are further fixed onto the circuit board with a pressing bar. The pressing bar includes a pair of pressing ears on both ends and a plurality of troughs on the bottom. A fastening hole is on both ends of the connector. By placing the pressing ear of the pressing bar into the fastening holes of the connector, the pressing bar is fixed on top of the connector and the troughs of the pressing bar are firmly attached on top of the connecting legs of the sleeves. Thus the connecting legs are pressed on top of the connecting points so as to avoid bad connections and open circuit conditions.
