  • Publication number: 20060057891
Abstract: An all-in-one memory card reader includes a socket into which can be inserted memory cards having more than one distinct specification. A pivot base and a blocking slide are provided at the contact tips of connecting terminals welded on the base board, such that the contact tips of layered connecting terminals are able to be pressed down. Consequently, when a distinct specification memory card is inserted, the contact tips are pressed down to prevent the mis-touch and wear-out of the memory cards' terminals.

Abstract: A newly designed solenoid gas valve which including a solenoid assembly and inlet & outlet fittings is installed inside a tube. The adoption of in-line inlet and outlet configuration simplifies the procedures required for connecting the pipes and the gas flow is controlled by opening and closing the valve in a piping system. The opening and closing of the valve is operated by the pressure difference with an aid of the magnetic field. A compression spring is attached to the support cylindrical body and held against the inlet end fitting while a moving solenoid assembly is located inside the support cylindrical body. The moving solenoid assembly that consists of a stop, a flange, a sleeve and an electrical coil, is held by a second compression spring that is attached to the inside of the support cylindrical body. • Publication number: 20060005950
Abstract: A heat conductive plate includes a hollow case and a plurality of grooves respectively formed on the inner top wall and the inner bottom wall of the case. In addition, a plurality of supporting members are positioned in the case by way of powder sintering, wherein each surface of the supporting members has a porous wick structure formed thereon. Thus, the case can be sustained by the supports with each wick structure firmly mounted in the grooves of the inner walls thereof. When performing heat transferring, the working fluid is heated to be formed as vapor by the electronic element mounted on the outer bottom surface so as to flow toward the inner top surface of the case. The working fluid is then cooled to be liquid again to be absorbed by the wick structures of the supporting members and be transported toward the inner bottom of the case.

  • Publication number: 20060008591
Abstract: A coating apparatus (2) includes a work table (20) having a plurality of blowing holes (201) for suspending a substrate (200) thereabove, a coating unit (22) having a photoresist coating nozzle (222) and a supplying device (224) for photoresist material. The photoresist coating nozzle is disposed above the work table, and the supplying device connects to the coating nozzle for supplying photoresist thereto. In operation, the substrate to be coated is continuously suspended in the gas just above but not in contact with the work table. Therefore, accumulation of static electricity and/or foreign particles on the substrate can be avoided. Gas emitting from the blowing holes can remove foreign particles from the surface of the work table and the backside of the work table.

  • Patent number: 6981381
Abstract: Device driver circuits based on H-bridges can be implemented to provide linear control of the H-bridge, reduce power losses, and reduce certain component size/cost. The driver circuits can use two feedback loops to operate the H-bridge in different regions and to guarantee that current flows through an H-bridge load device, such as a thermoelectric cooler, in only one direction at a given time. The H-bridge driver circuits can remove the possibility of high currents bypassing the load device and thus going directly through the switches on either side of the H-bridge driver. The H-bridge driver circuits also ensure careful control of the current applied to the H-bridge load device. Such driver circuits are particularly useful for controlling the current applied to thermoelectric devices.

  • Publication number: 20050274495
Abstract: A cylindrical heat pipe structure includes a hollow pipe body. A working fluid is contained in the pipe body. Several trenches are formed on the inner surface of the pipe body. The cylindrical heat pipe structure further includes several rib pillars, which are powder sintered on the inner surface of the pipe body. The rib pillars are extended from the inner surface of the pipe body toward the center of the pipe body. A porous wick structure is formed on the surface of said rib pillars. The rib pillars are firmly sintered on the pipe body due to the presence of the trenches. The presence of trenches may also increase the condensation area, thereby increasing the condensation performance. The hot air generated by heat exchanging with the heat source may thus more rapidly be condensed into liquid. The condensed liquid may also rapidly move to the porous rib pillar and transfer to the bottom portion of the pipe body. The overall heat dissipation rate is thus enhanced.

  • Publication number: 20050270743
Abstract: A cooling module is provided for use in an electronic device. The cooling module includes a heat conducting plate, a heat conducting pillar erected on the bottom surface of the heat conducting plate facing a heat generating electronic element, a cooling fin set disposed on the top surface of the heat conducting plate, and an wind mask covering the heat conducting plate and the cooling fin set. An air generator is disposed to one side of the wind mask, and an opening is formed at the other side of the wind mask. Furthermore, a fastening element is formed at two sides of the wind mask for fastening the cooling module onto the housing of the electronic device. Since the housing of the electronic device supports the weight of the cooling module, the heat generating electronic element is prevented from being damaged by the weight of the cooling module.
