Abstract: A wearable dining utensil comprises a rigid function portion for engaging food, a holder for holding the dining utensil, a shapeable connector having a third linking part and a fourth linking part for fixing a bendable portion, and a fifth linking part having an outlet for linking with the fourth linking part. One end of the rigid function portion also serves as a male linker and the opposite end has a first linking part. One end of the holder serves as a female linker for linking with the male linker, and the opposite end has a second linking part. When the female linker is linked with the male linker, the dining utensil forms a loop, and when the outlet is linked with the fourth linking part, the dining utensil forms a regular utensil. According to various connecting profiles, the dining utensils can form a bracelet, necklace or an ornament.

Abstract: A recursive route planning method for a electric vehicle, the method comprising steps of: inputting a status condition, wherein the status condition has at least one starting point and at least one destination, mileages for remaining electric power and a route distance between the starting point and destination; searching all recharge stations between the starting point and destination covering the latitude and longitude; calculating distance between each recharge station to the starting point and the destination; removing recharge stations that do not meet a search condition; integrating a list of recharge stations and planning at least one optimum route for the electric vehicle; and executing the steps above when any status condition changes to retrieve a new driving route.

Abstract: One embodiment of the present invention provides a switch. The switch includes an ownership management mechanism and a notification mechanism. The ownership management mechanism maintains a local ownership association between the switch, and a medium access control (MAC) address learned at the switch and terminates the local ownership association for the MAC address. The notification mechanism generates a first notification indicating the local ownership association and a second notification indicating the termination of the local ownership association.

The router is responsible for transferring vehicle state signals of those vehicles out of direct communications between them. Therefore, all the vehicles in the communication range are not blocked by terrains, buildings or other vehicles. All of them are taken into account to assess and find possible dangerous vehicles. This technique can effectively solve the problem of dead corners in driving safety auxiliary network communications. Highly important packets can be immediately and reliably transmitted to the corresponding vehicles, providing efficient warnings.

The platform includes following elements: (1) an anti-terror system, with an anti-terror server via a closed network connecting to a plurality of pre-contracted stations, wherein the closed network isn't invaded by a hacker; (2) an inputting frame, configured in the pre-contracted stations for inputting and transmitting terror data to the anti-terror server; (3) an anti-terror database, configured in the anti-terror server and maintained by an anti-terror expert system for receiving and correlating the terror data with historic terror data of the anti-terror database; (4) a resolving module, configured in the anti-terror server for estimating a probability of terrorism based on a result correlated by the anti-terror database and obtaining a terror warning according to the probability; and (5) a broadcasting module, configured in the anti-terror server for informing the pre-contracted stations of the terror warning.

Abstract: A method for estimating crank angles and rotation speeds of an engine, having a signal processing unit to generate a dynamic sampling signal based on the tooth number signal of the crank detected by a crank angle sensor, an estimation unit designed by a discrete kinematic model and containing an estimator and a feedback gain matrix to read the dynamic sampling signal, and a crank rotation stroke discriminator allowing the signal processing unit to calculate a more precise crank dynamic sampling signal, so as to preclude external noises to interfering control of the engine.

Abstract: An automatic liquid metering apparatus is disposed with at least a liquid concentrate motor pump with a tube connected thereto and at least a diluting water motor pump with a tube connected thereto where the turning of the pumps is timed by a microprocessor to control the amounts of liquid concentrate and diluting water to be dispensed. The outlet tubing of the pump is connected to the outlet of liquid concentrate and diluting water via a check valve. A lift mechanism is provided at the concentrate/diluting water outlet, which allows the choice of small cup, medium cup or large pot by ascending or descending to the proper height. The stop point of the lift mechanism is microprocessor controlled to prevent the spurting of dispensed liquid concentrate and diluting water due to great distance between their outlet and the rim of cup to ensure sanitary and smooth dispensing of fluids. This invention features precision dispensing of concentrate and diluting water and low manufacturing costs.

The rod may be moved along a curved surface of the block and may be forced to engage with the other groove of the block for securing the handlebar to the base at a folding position.
