Abstract: A sandal made of a sole base has a sole base and a decorative rope. The sole base has multiple holes formed through the sole base and multiple bottom slits formed in a bottom side of the sole base and communicating with adjacent ones of the multiple holes respectively. The decorative rope is mounted with the sole base and has a decorative portion, multiple connecting portions connected with the decorative portion and mounted in the holes respectively, and a wearing space formed between the sole base, the connecting portions and the decorative portion. The decorative portion can be plaited into different types or the decorative rope can be replaced by another decorative rope to suit for a user who prefers to have a sandal which has a decorative rope with variations in type or style.
