The imaging system has: at least four kinds of filters, which have mutual different spectral transmission characteristics corresponding to wavelengths in the visible light band and whose transmissions in a second wavelength band approximate each other; and two color filters provided so as respectively correspond to the two imaging sensors. The imaging system measures a distance to a target based on two visible or infrared image signals.
