  • Publication number: 20200394347
Abstract: A method for assessing fatigue damage and fatigue life based on Abaqus is provided. The micro-macroscopic scale coupled model is based on the macroscopic representative area and the microstructure characterization of the material, and the microscopic sub-model is established by the Voronoi algorithm. The algorithm has good cross-platform compatibility and portability, fundamentally solves the technical problem of micro-macroscopic multi-scale coupling and establishes and applies the multi-scale coupled model to the fatigue damage and life assessment. The micro-macroscopic multi-scale coupled fatigue damage and life assessment model and algorithm of the material is capable of both considering the fatigue damage evolution on a microscopic scale and assessing the fatigue life, as well as calculating and assessing the two physical parameters on a macroscopic scale, so as to predict the fatigue damage and life of the whole workpiece.

  • Publication number: 20200394348
Abstract: A method for assessing fatigue damage and a fatigue life based on a crystal plastic welding process model. According to the new method, consideration is given to the effects of the crystal slip system and the polycrystal plastic strain on the welding process performance of the material. A welding process damage and fatigue life assessment model is established on the mesoscopic scale. The effect of microscopic characterizations of materials on the welding process performance, as well as on the fatigue damage and life of welded joints, can be studied from the mesoscopic point of view. The relationship between the welding process and the evolution of the material performance can be determined by the macro-mesoscopic coupling calculation model to further determine the effect and degree of welding processes on the fatigue damage and life of materials.

  • Publication number: 20200369785
Abstract: IgG epitope and applications thereof as a target are provided. The IgG epitope is the CH1 domain of non-B cell-derived IgG, and there is N-glycosylated sialic acid modification at the Asn162 site of the domain. The realization of its antigen functions must depend on the sialylation of the site. The present invention further discloses the applications of the IgG epitope as a drug target in preparing drugs for diagnosis and/or treatment of epithelial tumors. In addition, our studies showed that this antigen depends on the sialylation of Asn162 site as a drug target, and the sialylation of this site must depend on sialyltransferase ST3GAL4, indicating that the enzyme can be used as a drug target for preparing tumor therapeutic drugs. Further, integrin ?4 is co-expressed and co-localized with IgG containing the epitope. IgG can be used as a marker for preparing drugs for the auxiliary detection of epithelial tumors.

  • Publication number: 20200335934
Abstract: The present disclosure is generally directed to a TO can laser package that includes an off-center focus lens integrated into a lens cap to compensate displacement of an associated laser diode. The TO can laser package includes a TO header with a mounting structure for directly electrically coupling an associated laser diode to electrical leads/pins without the use of an intermediate interconnect. The mounting structure displaces the laser diode such that an emission surface, and more particularly, an origin thereof, is displaced/offset relative to a center of the TO header. The integrated lens cap includes a focus lens with an optical center that is offset from a center of the TO header at a distance that is substantially equal to the displacement of the laser diode. Thus, the displacement of the laser diode is compensated for by the off-center focus lens to minimize or otherwise reduce optical misalignment.
