Abstract: A single content region in a chat history display is used to display entries representative of a plurality of messages corresponding to all chat histories for all of chat threads currently engaged in by a given mobile terminal. Additionally, a buddy list display supports management of chat buddies, a detail view display allows otherwise truncated messages to be displayed, and a text message editor display supports the composition of text messages. Each chat user may designate public display identifiers for purposes of identification to other chat users. Additionally, each user may designate private display identifiers for each of his/her buddies, which private display identifiers may be used to replace the public display identifiers for that user's buddies when displayed on the user's mobile terminal. In this manner, the use of speech and text based group chatting and similar services in wireless communication environments is more readily enabled.

Abstract: A digital control circuit is provided for use with a switch-mode power converter that receives an input signal at a first input node and a control signal at a second input node, and that provides an output signal at a first output node and a current signal at a second output node. The digital control circuit generates a programmable current reference signal based on a difference between the output signal and a voltage reference signal, calculates a time instant when the current signal substantially equals the programmable reference current signal, and generates the control signal based on the calculated time instant.

Abstract: A system and method for analyzing and using vehicle historical data is provided. The system and method may include obtaining vehicle history data from a vehicle history data system, and analyzing various vehicle variables to determine final factors associated with such vehicle variables. The vehicle variables may be categorized based on the age of the vehicle, the amount of time that has occurred since some event, or other time period. The final factors can be combined to score particular vehicles. Vehicle history scores can be used to evaluate risk associated with a particular vehicle, including use in underwriting and rating insurance policies, vehicle financing, or vehicle warranties.

The buttplate assembly is pivotally coupled, via an attachment pin, to a rear portion of the stock. The engaging lever is positioned through an aperture in an upper portion of the stock and comprises a body extending from a head to a locking tab. The body also includes a release notch in a central portion. Abstract: A system and method for processing both Type 1 and Type 2 effective dated slowly changing dimension (SCD) date attributes. Two sets of date fields may be provided, an effective from/effective to set for dimensions with effective date logic; and an effective start date/effective end date for all dimensions. A current indicator is used to indicate a currently valid dimension. By processing and setting the date fields, both Type 1 and Type 2 dimensions can be processed and queried similarly. This enables generating an accurate and consistent report of information representing information in a data warehouse as it is now, or as it was at any point in time. The methods also enable for reporting and analysis of historical and trends, as well as future forecasting.

One variation of the method includes encoding within an ERI (enhanced roaming indicator) property two values that are respectively defined in a first portion of the ERI property and a second portion of the ERI property. The first portion of the ERI describes a visual roaming indicator that is to be presented on a mobile device. The second portion of the ERI describes a set of services that are available to the mobile device. A decoding method includes identifying an ERI value that is applicable given the roaming status, referencing a binary version of the ERI value, and inspecting a designated portion of the ERI value that indicates which services of the set of services are available.
