  • Patent number: 12292407
Abstract: Provided is a method for monitoring a change of ion strength in a sample solution by a closed-loop device that provides continuous cycling of electrochemical pH modulation between pre-defined pH values. In particular, the change of ion strength may be induced by a chemical reaction and may ultimately alter the electrical control parameters of the closed-loop device. By measuring such electrical control parameters, the degree and progress of the underlying chemical reaction may be monitored.

  • Publication number: 20250103950
Abstract: A method for time-series forecasting for time-series data with a periodic behavior larger than a respective sampling rate is disclosed. The method includes selecting candidate time lag values from measured time-series data, determining first training data based on time-series data and the candidate time lag values, and training of a first machine-learning system, thereby determining a subset of the set of the first training data. The method further includes building second training data, training of a second machine-learning system for time-series predictions when using measured sampled time-series data as input. A first performance indicator value is indicative of a prediction performance of the first time-series machine-learning model. The method further includes determining that an element of the set of second training data is significant for the training of the first time-series machine-learning model and determining that the set of second training data is complete.

  • Patent number: 12241482
Abstract: A piston accumulator has an accumulator housing and a separating piston (8) guided for longitudinal motion in the accumulator housing. The separating piston separates a liquid side (4) from a gas side (10) in the accumulator housing. Liquid unintentionally transitions from the liquid side (4) to the gas side (10) despite a piston seal on the separating piston (8). By a return device (28), the transitioned liquid is at least partially returned from the gas side (10) of the accumulator housing to the liquid side (4) of the accumulator housing.

  • Patent number: 12102760
Abstract: A patient interface comprises a frame, a headgear, a manifold and two nasal prongs. The frame may be recessed from the face of the patient, and preferably from the manifold so that the manifold may deform or move with respect to the face of the patient. The manifold may be further configured to be compliant in the direction of engagement with the patient's face, such as in the anterior direction. These features may allow the manifold to engage with the face of the patient, such as the upper lip, without exerting a significant pressure which may lead to patient discomfort. The manifold may also be configured to be rotatable with respect to the frame, for example by a grip feature which may be configured to be held in one hand for rotation.
