  • Patent number: 11663739
Abstract: A computer-implemented method of field calibrating a device is disclosed. In one example, a reference image is acquired, via an infrared camera, while the device is in a factory-calibrated state. The reference image measures a factory-calibrated spatial relationship of one or more infrared-visible fiducial markers of the device relative to the infrared camera while the device is in the factory-calibrated state. Later, a field image is acquired, via the infrared camera. The field image measures an updated spatial relationship of the one or more infrared-visible fiducial markers relative to the infrared camera. The device is field calibrated based on the reference image and the field image.

  • Publication number: 20230123300
Abstract: Systems, methods, and storage mediums storing methods of natural capital measurement are described. A region of influence for the area whose natural capital is to be measured is determined and segmented into a plurality of segments. A land assessment model, including a system dynamics model and a spatially explicit model, is generated for the region of influence by training one or more machine learning algorithms to classify land use categories for the segments and to determine statistical relationships between state variables and properties of the segment. A flow sequence for simulating a transport of materials between the plurality of segments is executed to update the land assessment model. Health indicators for the natural capital of the area are generated using the updated land assessment model.

  • Publication number: 20230119633
Abstract: The disclosed techniques provide enhanced eye tracking systems utilizing joint estimation of biological parameters and hardware parameters. By the use of joint estimation of biological parameters, e.g., direction and position of an eye, with concurrent estimation of hardware parameters, e.g., camera position or camera direction, a system can self-calibrate and provide eye tracking estimations that can allow a system to accommodate for deformations and other changes of a device. The disclosed techniques include a method to model changes of a device, as well as detect and compensate for them while the eye-tracking device is in normal use, thereby preserving the performance of the system without requiring a factory-calibration procedure to be repeated.

  • Patent number: 11599508
Abstract: Embodiments are directed to managing data in a file system. A source bucket that contains a plurality of objects on a cloud computing environment may be determined. The source bucket may be associated with a target directory in the file system based on an integration relationship. Object keys from the object store may be provided based on a query and filter rules such that each object key corresponds to an object in the source bucket that conforms to the filter rules. Source objects in the source bucket may be determined based on the object keys such that each source object corresponds to one of the object keys. Target files that correspond to the source objects may be determined based on the integration relationship. In response to determining changed target files or changed source objects, copying the changed source objects or the changed target files to the target directory.
