  • Publication number: 20260139240
Abstract: A mutant subtilase cytotoxin B subunit protein is provided which can bind glycans having ?2-3-linked N-glycolylneuraminic acid and glycans having ?2-6-linked N-glycolylneuraminic acid. The mutant SubB protein has deletions of one or more of the amino acid sequence TTSTE and has a previously undescribed ability to bind glycans having ?2-6-linked N-glycolylneuraminic acid, while not losing the ability to bind glycans having ?2-3-linked N-glycolylneuraminic acid.

  • Publication number: 20260113457
Abstract: Systems and methods for enhanced video encoding identify patterns in sequences of raw digital video frames to extract features and identify the type of content represented by the extracted features. The system simulates many outcomes of encoding the sequence of digital video frames by using various different encoding strategies to find the relative best encoding strategy for each sequence of frames. As the encoder processes video, it passes digital video frames to a modeling system which determines whether the video, or video having that same type of content, has been previously observed by the system. The system then selectively applies a saved encoding strategy that had been determined by the system to be particularly suitable for encoding the same sequence of video frames or that same type of content.

  • Publication number: 20250373893
Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods for detecting the reactions of primary and secondary viewers of content are described. Reactions of a primary or secondary viewer of content may be detected through use of a sensor and machine learning model. Based on the reaction of the primary or secondary viewer satisfying some criteria, outputting of the content may be modified and/or alternative content may be provided. Furthermore, metadata may be generated based on the detection of adverse reactions to intrusions by a viewer of content that is associated with an indication that the outputted content is associated with certain predefined types.

  • Publication number: 20250287060
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatuses are provided for predicting consumption of recorded content. A content item may be recorded for subsequent consumption by a user. Predictive data associated with when the recorded content item will be subsequently consumed by the user may be determined. The predictive data may be determined based on the content type for the content item and user behavior history. The predictive data may include a predicted time window for receiving a request from the user to consume the recorded content item and a confidence level. Data indicating the predictive data may be associated with or included with the recorded content item, and at least a portion of the recorded content item may be prepared for delivery or delivered to a user device based on the predicted time the recorded content item will be consumed.

  • Patent number: 12347840
Abstract: The disclosed technology includes devices, systems, and methods for a battery-integrated heat pump system. The disclosed technology can include a heat pump system having a battery, a compressor, and a variable speed drive in electrical communication with the battery and the compressor. The variable speed drive can be configured to control a speed of the compressor. The heat pump system can include a fan that can be configured to move air across a heat exchanger coil of the heat pump system and the battery can be located in an airflow path of the fan such that the fan can also move air across the battery to regulate a temperature of the battery.

  • Publication number: 20250060114
Abstract: Embodiments include systems and methods for heating water and cooling air simultaneously, as well as other simultaneous heating and cooling operations. An example variable refrigerant flow conditioning system includes an outdoor unit having a compressor, a condenser coil, and a fan, a water heater coupled to the outdoor unit, a first air conditioning unit coupled to the outdoor unit, and a controller. The controller may be configured to determine that a cooling mode is active during a first time interval, cause vapor refrigerant to be directed from the outdoor unit to the water heater and liquid refrigerant to be directed from the outdoor unit to the first air conditioning unit, determine that an air heating mode is active during a second time interval, and cause the vapor refrigerant to be directed from the outdoor unit to both the water heater and the first air conditioning unit.
