  • Patent number: 12332005
Abstract: The present disclosure provides systems and techniques for authenticating a user at gun. The gun may include an authentication manager capable of implementing logic, processing signals, or executing instructions. The authentication manager may receive first query data from a first authentication sensor of the gun, receive second query data from a second authentication sensor of the gun, perform an authentication procedure to determine whether the first query data or the second query data matches enrollment data, where a match is determined based on the first query data or the second query data and the enrollment data satisfying a similarity threshold. The authentication manager may determine that the user is authorized to operate the gun and transmit a signal in response to the determining that the user is authorized to operate the gun. The signal may cause the gun to enter an active state which allows the gun to be fired.

  • Publication number: 20250181652
Abstract: A data processing system with a dataset multiplexer that enables applications to be written to specify access to datasets as operations on logical datasets. During execution of an application by the data processing system, the physical dataset used for performing data access operations may be selected based on current context. Current context may be specified based on values of system parameters and/or user specified values. The physical dataset accessed may be identified by selecting a record from multiple records in a dataset catalog associated with the logical dataset. Each record includes information to access a physical dataset associated with the selected record and context information to indicate the context in which the specific physical dataset is to be selected.

  • Publication number: 20250173626
Abstract: Systems and methods are described herein for novel uses and/or improvements for designing user-specific interfaces using machine learning models. When a request to display certain data by an application is received, an application token and a user token may be retrieved and input into a machine learning model to obtain a prediction of a pre-defined user-application interface configuration. A user interface token for the application may then be generated. The user interface token may indicate user interface settings/configuration desired/preferred by a user. The user interface token may then be sent to the application to cause the application to display the data using user interface configurations within the user interface token.

  • Publication number: 20250153704
Abstract: Systems and processes described herein can use drive line actuators (DLAs) which can be implemented for one or more individual wheels of an electric vehicle (EV) permitting connection and disconnection of at least a portion of the axle and wheel from the electric motor suppling torque. A disconnected wheel and axle can experience less friction, and have less rotational mass then a wheel and axle that is connected to an electric motor, therefore the disconnecting wheels in which torque is not desired can result in increased efficiency and range in an EV.
