  • Patent number: 12196573
Abstract: In examples, a method comprises receiving input from a first user relating to a first variable of a first portion of a road network, determining first semantic data associated with the first variable, determining the absence of a lock for the first portion based on the first semantic data, and causing a first lock to be implemented for the first portion based on the first semantic data. The first lock in examples indicates that users other than the first user are to be prevented from making changes to a first set of variables of the first portion that are associated with the first semantic data.

  • Patent number: 12198069
Abstract: Techniques are provided herein. The techniques can include obtaining current context data and determining a contextually-determined action based on the obtained context data and a reasoning model. The reasoning model may have been determined based on one or more sets of training data. The techniques may cause performance of the contextually-determined action and, potentially, receiving an indication that performing the contextually-determined action in the current context resulted in an anomaly. The techniques include determining a portion of the reasoning model that caused the determination of the contextually-determined action based on the obtained context data and causing removal of the portion of the model that caused the determination of the contextually-determined action, to produce a corrected reasoning model. Subsequently, second context data is obtained, a second action is determined based on that data and the corrected reasoning model, and the second contextually-determined action can be performed.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides systems and techniques for determining whether a user is holding a gun. The gun may include a sensor, such as a laser proximity sensor, a capacitive proximity sensor, a load cell, an accelerometer, or a biometric sensor, and the gun may determine whether a user is holding the gun based on an output generated by the sensor. A processor housed in the gun may identify activation of a proximity sensor, determine that a user is holding the gun based on the activation of the proximity sensor, and perform an action in response to determining that the user is holding the gun. The action performed by the processor may include performing a boot procedure, performing a health check procedure, visually indicating state information about the gun, audibly indicating state information about the gun, or tactilely indicating state information about the gun.

  • Publication number: 20250005449
Abstract: Systems and methods are described herein for novel uses and/or improvements for designing user-specific interfaces using machine learning models. When a request to display certain data by an application is received, an application token and a user token may be retrieved and input into a machine learning model to obtain a prediction of a pre-defined user-application interface configuration. A user interface token for the application may then be generated. The user interface token may indicate user interface settings/configuration desired/preferred by a user. The user interface token may then be sent to the application to cause the application to display the data using user interface configurations within the user interface token.

  • Publication number: 20250005453
Abstract: Provided is an approach for knowledge distillation based on exporting Principal Components approximations (e.g., Bregman representations) of one or more layer-wise representations of the teacher model. In particular, the present disclosure provides an extension to the original Bregman PCA formulation by incorporating a mean vector and orthonormalizing the principal directions with respect to the geometry of the local convex function around the mean. This extended formulation allows viewing the learned representation as a dense layer, thus casting the problem as learning the linear coefficients of the compressed examples, as the input to this layer, by the student network. Example empirical data indicates that example implementations of the approach improve performance when compared to typical teacher-student training using soft labels.
