Abstract: A system and method of decoding a coding unit in an image frame from a bitstream. The method comprises determining a size of the coding unit from the bitstream; and dividing the image frame into a plurality of equally sized processing regions, each of the equally sized processing regions being a block processed during a single stage of a pipeline decoding the bitstream. If the coding unit overlaps a boundary between the determined processing regions, the method comprises selecting a transform size for the coding unit from a plurality of transform sizes, the transform size being selected to fit within the coding unit and being different in size to the processing regions; and decoding the coding unit by applying an inverse transform to residual coefficients of each transform unit in the coding unit, each of the transform units being of the selected transform size.

Abstract: A power switch includes a first transistor and a second transistor, coupled in series between a first power supply voltage and a pad. The power switch also includes an analog multiplexer (MUX). The MUX is configured to provide a pad voltage to a control electrode of the first transistor when an overvoltage (OV) condition is detected on the pad, a second power supply voltage to the control electrode of the first transistor when an undervoltage (UV) condition is detected on the pad, and a reference voltage to the control electrode of the first transistor when neither the UV condition nor the OV condition is detected on the pad. The first power supply voltage is greater than the second power supply voltage, and the reference voltage is a fraction of the first power supply voltage.

Abstract: A multi-chip semiconductor package includes a dielectric interconnect layer having an upper surface and a bottom surface, at least one common source pad disposed on the upper surface of the interconnect layer, at least one common gate pad disposed on the upper surface of the interconnect layer, and a plurality of semiconductor devices each including a gate pad and at least one source pad adhered onto the interconnect layer, wherein the source pads of the plurality of semiconductor devices are electrically connected to the at least one common source pad, and wherein the source pads of the plurality of semiconductor devices are electrically connected in parallel with one another, and wherein the gate pads of the plurality of semiconductor devices are electrically connected to the common gate pad, and wherein the gate pads of the plurality of semiconductor devices are electrically connected in parallel with one another.

Abstract: Systems and methods for providing scene understanding can include obtaining a plurality of images, stitching images associated with the scene, detecting objects in the scene, and providing information associated with the objects in the scene. The systems and methods can include determining filter tags or query tags that can be selected to filter the plurality of objects, which can then be provided as information to the user to provide further insight on the scene. The information may be provided in an augmented-reality experience via text or other user-interface elements anchored to objects in the images.

Abstract: A vaporization device includes a cartridge for a vaporizer device. For example, the vaporizer cartridge and/or features thereof may improve management of leaks of vaporizable material from the vaporizer cartridge, control of airflow within and/or near the vaporizer cartridge, heating of vaporizable material in the vaporizer cartridge, management of condensate in the vaporizer cartridge, and/or other assembly features of the vaporizer cartridge. Related systems, methods, and articles of manufacture are also described.

Abstract: A server system receives a request to generate a playlist. The playlist includes a sequence of media items. The server system receives a plurality of constraints that define disqualification criteria for excluding media items from a respective slot in the sequence of media items. The plurality of constraints for the respective slot in the sequence of media items includes at least one constraint that is based on already-populated slots in the sequence of media items. The server system generates the playlist by sequentially populating each respective slot in the sequence of media items, including selecting, for the respective slot, a respective media item that meets the plurality of constraints for the respective slot in the sequence of media items. The server system provides the playlist to a user of the media providing service.

Abstract: A system for use with a fuel-burning water heater and a ventilation conduit is disclosed. The fuel-burning water heater is configured to burn fuel and generate gaseous exhaust and condensate from the burning of the fuel. The ventilation conduit is configured to remove the gaseous exhaust from the fuel-burning water heater. The system includes an input port configured to receive the gaseous exhaust and the condensate, a neutralizing material holder configured to house a condensate neutralizing material therein and to receive the condensate from the input port, a gas output port configured to provide the gaseous exhaust to the ventilation conduit, and a liquid output port configured to output condensate from the neutralizing material holder. The neutralizing material holder is disposed between the input port and the liquid output port.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides methods and systems for generative question answering for construction project document. The method comprises: receiving a question from a user via a message interface, wherein the question is related to information from a plurality of construction project documents; identifying, using one or more large language models, one or more relevant documents from the plurality of construction project documents and one or more chunks relevant to the question, and generating an answer based at least in part on the one or more relevant documents and one or more chunks; and providing the answer and one or more links to the one or more relevant documents in a text message in the message interface.

Abstract: Methods and systems for providing background blur in video data are provided herein. The method includes receiving, by an electronic processor, video data from a video capture device and receiving, by the electronic processor, location data for an object in the video data from a range sensor, wherein the location data indicates a distance of the object from the video capture device. The method also includes determining, by the electronic processor, a zone of inclusion for the video data based on the video data and the location data and applying continuous and undisrupted background blur to pixels of the video data located outside the zone of inclusion.

Abstract: Systems and processes described herein can use drive line actuators (DLAs) which can be implemented for one or more individual wheels of an electric vehicle (EV) permitting connection and disconnection of at least a portion of the axle and wheel from the electric motor suppling torque. A disconnected wheel and axle can experience less friction, and have less rotational mass then a wheel and axle that is connected to an electric motor, therefore the disconnecting wheels in which torque is not desired can result in increased efficiency and range in an EV.

Abstract: Embodiments are disclosed for semantically organizing a graphic design document. A method of semantically organizing a graphic design document can include obtaining a document, identifying a plurality of layers associated with the document, determining a plurality of semantic labels associated with the plurality of layers, determining a semantic layer hierarchy of the plurality of layers, and organizing the plurality of layers based at least on the semantic layer hierarchy.

Abstract: A pet vestibule configured for being attached to a door and to either swing open with the door or to be removably installed so the vestibule can be released from the interior side of the door before the door is opened, and the door can swing freely. The vestibule can then be rolled out of the doorway. The vestibule provides a protected shelter area for pets and animals to come and go into a structure without the need for human assistance, while also inhibiting rain, snow, and other inclement weather from entering the structure through the pet door.

Abstract: Vaporizer devices are provided. In one exemplary embodiment, the vaporizer device can include a vaporizer body and a cartridge selectively coupled to and removable from the vaporizer body. The vaporizer body includes a cartridge receptacle and a heating element disposed within the cartridge receptacle and affixed to the vaporizer body. The cartridge includes a reservoir chamber and a wicking element that is in fluid communication with the reservoir chamber. The wicking element is configured to draw at least a portion of a vaporizable material from the reservoir chamber. The wicking element and at least a portion of the heating element are brought into direct contact with each other such that at least a portion of the vaporizable material received within the wicking element can be substantially vaporized to form vaporized material. Cartridges for vaporizer devices are also provided.

Abstract: A high-energy resistor has a resistive body comprising unbound particulate material. The resistance value of the resistor can be determined in part by a mixing ratio of components in the unbound particulate material and a pressure applied to the particulate material. For a selected mixing ratio, the resistance of the assembled resistor can be adjusted to obtain a selected resistance value with high accuracy by changing pressure on the unbound particulate material. Such adjustment can be made readily by a user before and/or after the resistor is installed in a system. The adjustment can be automated and made during operation of the system to maintain a resistance value precisely.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, apparatus, article of manufacture, method and/or computer program product embodiments, and/or combinations and sub-combinations thereof, for modifying one or more parameters of graphical overlays to increase readability when arranged over a very visually noisy display screen. An example embodiment operates by determining a graphic rendering area and position within a video frame of a graphical overlay, calculating a location of video sub-blocks located in another layer of the video frame, wherein the video sub-blocks at least partially obfuscate the graphical overlay during rendering, evaluating a histogram of the video sub-blocks aligned with the graphic rendering area and selecting, based on a histogram value being above a threshold histogram value, a second graphic rendering area, and relocating the graphic overlay to the second graphic rendering area.

Abstract: Vaporizer devices are disclosed. In one exemplary embodiment, a vaporizer device can include a vaporizer body including a first airflow path extending at least partially therethrough, and a sensor assembly residing at least partially within the vaporizer body. The sensor assembly includes a flexible sensor that is in communication with the first airflow path. The flexible sensor is configured to reversibly deflect from an initial state to a first state in response to a first user-activated force representing air being drawn through the first airflow path, and configured to reversibly deflect from the initial state to a second state in response to a second user-activated force representing an acceleration of the vaporizer body. Sensor assemblies for a vaporizer device are also provided.
