    Abstract: Kits for assembling rackable gates are provided. The kits comprise a pair of gate uprights, each gate upright comprising a tubular elongate member and a bracket. The tubular elongate member comprises apertures configured to accept a fence panel rail therethrough and into an elongate channel situated on an interior surface therein and configured to securely receive an end of the fence panel rail such that lateral and torsional movement of said fence panel rail is restricted. The bracket comprises a pair of bracket arms attached to an exterior surface of the tubular elongate member, each situated directly opposite the other with an aperture situated therebetween and configured to accommodate a fastener for fastening a fence panel rail thereto. Also provided are methods for assembling gates from such kits and gates assembled from such kits and by such methods.

The system also includes a locking and spacing apparatus positioned on an exterior portion of the one or more decorative screen panels. The spacer is positioned to receive a locking mechanism. The locking mechanism is positioned on the locking and spacing apparatus over the one or more decorative screen panels. A first portion of the locking mechanism is positioned within the spacer. A second portion of the locking mechanism is positioned under the locking and spacing apparatus and configured to move in a perpendicular direction. The movement in the perpendicular direction secures the locking mechanism within the locking and spacing apparatus.

    Abstract: A system includes an initial position identified to build one or more connected structures. The system also includes one or more corner brackets attached to a plurality of frame members at the initial position. The system also includes a plurality of mid-beams and center braces positioned in between each of the frame members and each of the corner brackets to enable decorative screen panels to be placed between each of the frame members and corner brackets. The decorative screen panels are positioned over the mid-beams and center beams and in between the corner brackets and frame members. The system also includes a plurality of corner posts each inserted into one of the corner brackets. The corner posts, combined with the corner brackets form a T-shaped frame around the decorative screen panels.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer readable media for taking measurements of a material, including determining material anisotropy, are provided. According to one aspect, a method for determining tissue anisotropy comprises: applying, to a tissue sample, a first force having a direction and having a coronal plane normal to the direction of the force, the first force having an oval or other profile with long and short axes within the coronal plane, the long axis being oriented in a first direction within the coronal plane, and measuring a first displacement of the tissue; applying, to the tissue sample, a second force, and measuring a second displacement of the tissue; and calculating a tissue elasticity anisotropy based on the measured first and second displacements. Furthermore, by applying the first and second forces multiple times, tissue viscosity, elasticity, or other anisotropy may be calculated from the multiple displacement measurements.

    Abstract: A method for quantitatively measuring a physical characteristic of a material includes applying a force to a material sample according to an interrogation profile comprising a set of one or more interrogation parameters. The method further includes measuring a displacement over time of the material sample that occurs as a result of applying the force according to the interrogation profile. The method further includes using the interrogation profile and the measured displacement over time of the material sample to derive a quantitative value of a physical characteristic of the material sample.
