  • Patent number: 10563763
Abstract: The present invention relates to a tank piston with an improved seal having a cap, a body attached to the periphery of the cap, a circumferential channel adjacent to the periphery of the cap and an annular seal held within the channel by an annular sheet. In one aspect of the invention the annular sheet secures the seal within the channel and is attached to the piston by a ring proximate to the periphery of the cap and a ring proximate to the back side of the circumferential channel. In another aspect of the invention the annular sheet is made from a friction reducing material and enables the piston to more easily move within the tank and subsequently extends the lifespan of the seal. Additionally, the annular sheet is fitted to the seal and attached above the front sidewall of the channel.

  • Patent number: 10257150
Abstract: The present invention generally relates to social network media streaming, and to the sharing of comments about the media content by users of the network. In particular, embodiments of the present invention provide a comment lock module that determines and assigns the locking position of a comment to a position within the media stream, e.g. at a particular time code, and restricts viewing of the comment according to its locking position. Thus, a locked comment allows unrestricted viewing access to a user only after the user watched the video past the position that the comment was locked to. The media content may be categorized and/or filtered to allow the user to focus on consuming and sharing primarily positive inspirational content.

  • Patent number: 10198674
Abstract: A method of controlling memory usage in a graphics rendering system. The method comprises converting a plurality of layers of graphical objects to an intermediate format representation, the layers being formed by grouping the graphical objects into a plurality of layers based on a first complexity threshold; and in response to detecting a memory shortage condition in execution of the graphics rendering system, determining a second complexity threshold based on the detected memory shortage condition, the second complexity threshold being lower than the first complexity threshold. The method also comprises identifying a layer of the plurality of layers based on the second complexity threshold, the identified layer being different to a layer which triggered the memory shortage condition, and converting the identified layer of graphical objects to the intermediate format representation to release memory occupied by graphical objects of the identified layer.
