  • Publication number: 20130324858
Abstract: An optical scanner, scanner apparatus, or scanner assembly, which may be particularly advantageous for use in a multiphoton microscope, includes a first drivable bending component, a second drivable bending component mounted perpendicularly to the first component, and at least one optical waveguide coupled one or both of the first and second bending components, wherein the at least one optical waveguide provides both a propagation path for a multiphoton excitation radiation delivery between a light source and a target and a multiphoton-induced emission radiation delivery between the target and a detector. A GRIN relay lens. A multiphoton microscope incorporating the scanner and the GRIN relay lens.

  • Publication number: 20080156567
Abstract: A working machine includes a steerable, power driven ground engaging structure and a hydraulic actuator operated working part for performing working operations, and a control apparatus which includes a mounting, a steering device for providing steering to the ground engaging structure, and a manually operable control device for controlling operation of a hydraulic control valve which in use selectively provides pressurised hydraulic fluid to the at least one actuator to operate the working part, the steering device including a steering wheel which includes an outer rim part which is rotatable relative to the mounting, within an envelope of rotation, about an axis, to turn a steering column which is coaxial or substantially co-axial with the axis of rotation of the steering wheel, the steering column being operatively connected to the ground engaging structure to effect steering of the machine when turned, and the control apparatus further including a hub structure which is located within or substantially with

  • Patent number: 6595612
Abstract: An inkjet printer capable of minimizing chromatic variation due to an ink overlapping (or overlaying) order when printing in a bidirectional mode. Bright color ink dots and dark color ink dots are arranged alternately within the same swath when printing in the bidirectional mode. Plural swaths with different overlapped colors consisting of these dots are arranged alternately in both the main and sub directions to perform overall chromatic averaging.

  • Patent number: 6273550
Abstract: An inkjet printer capable of minimizing chromatic variation due to an ink overlapping (or overlaying) order when printing in a bidirectional mode. The inkjet printer comprises an inkjet head that has a plurality of inkjet nozzles. The nozzles include at least one nozzle for firing the darkest color ink, at least one nozzle for firing the brightest color ink and at least one nozzle for firing a mid-color ink. The nozzle for firing the brightest color ink can be located downstream from or the nozzle for firing the darkest color ink can be located upstream to the nozzle for firing a mid-color ink whenever the inkjet head travels in the main scan direction regardless to both directional passes.
