  • Publication number: 20250103950
Abstract: A method for time-series forecasting for time-series data with a periodic behavior larger than a respective sampling rate is disclosed. The method includes selecting candidate time lag values from measured time-series data, determining first training data based on time-series data and the candidate time lag values, and training of a first machine-learning system, thereby determining a subset of the set of the first training data. The method further includes building second training data, training of a second machine-learning system for time-series predictions when using measured sampled time-series data as input. A first performance indicator value is indicative of a prediction performance of the first time-series machine-learning model. The method further includes determining that an element of the set of second training data is significant for the training of the first time-series machine-learning model and determining that the set of second training data is complete.

  • Patent number: 12256921
Abstract: A knotless tissue repair assembly for attachment of tissue to bone includes an anchoring implant with a length of suture threaded therethrough. The implant is preferably a soft flexible three-dimensional structure. The implant may be actuated from a first elongate low profile shape into a second short radially expanded shape having a larger diameter than the hole through which it was placed. The suture extends through the anchor, through a tissue to be secured, and back through a designated suture-binding region or passageway within the anchor enabling the suture to be secured therein and without the need for a physician to tie a knot. Further tension applied to a suture leg approximates the tissue to the anchor until a desired tension or distance between the tissue and anchor is achieved.

  • Publication number: 20250090185
Abstract: Retrieval of material from vessel lumens can be improved by electrically enhancing attachment of the material to the removal device. The removal device can have a core assembly that includes a hypotube coupled to a first electrical terminal and a pushwire coupled to a second electrical terminal, the pushwire extending through the hypotube lumen. An insulating layer separates the hypotube and the pushwire, and an interventional element is coupled to a distal end of the pushwire. The interventional element can be disposed adjacent to a thrombus. An electrical signal is delivered to the interventional element to promote adhesion of the thrombus to the interventional element. The electrical signal can optionally be a periodic waveform, and the total energy delivered can be between 0.75-24,000 mJ and the peak current delivered via the electrical signal can be between 0.5-5 mA.

  • Publication number: 20250085604
Abstract: A system for simplified driving of electrophoretic media using a positive and a negative voltage source, where the voltage sources have different magnitudes, and a controller that cycles the top electrode between the two voltage sources and ground while coordinating driving at least two drive electrodes opposed to the top electrode. The resulting system can achieve roughly the same color states as compared to supplying each drive electrode with six independent drive levels and ground. Thus, the system simplifies the required electronics with only marginal loss in color gamut. The system is particularly useful for addressing an electrophoretic medium including four sets of different particles, e.g., wherein three of the particles are colored and subtractive and one of the particles is light-scattering.

  • Publication number: 20250079371
Abstract: Semiconductor die assemblies with flexible interconnects, and associated methods and systems are disclosed. The semiconductor die assembly includes a package substrate and a semiconductor die attached to the package substrate through the flexible interconnects. The flexible interconnects include one or more rigid sections and one or more flexible sections, each of which is disposed next to the rigid sections. The flexible sections may include malleable materials with relatively low melting temperatures (e.g., having relatively low modulus at elevated temperatures) such that the flexible interconnects can have reduced flexural stiffness during the assembly process. The malleable materials of the flexible interconnects, through plastic deformation in response to stress generated during the assembly process, may facilitate portions of the flexible interconnects to shift so as to reduce transfer of the stress to other parts of the semiconductor die assembly-e.g., circuitry of the semiconductor die.

  • Publication number: 20250063035
Abstract: A multifunction peripheral (MFP) includes user selectable functions that call home applications on the device that direct it to work cooperatively with cloud service providers. To avoid requiring users to login to each cloud service each time they use it, they are registered with an authorization server to establish and grant identity and authorization tokens. When a user logs in to an MFP, they are redirected to login to the authorization server which then sends tokens to the MFP identifying the user and their permissions and licenses. Home applications associated by the tokens are displayed for selection. Each time a home application using a cloud service is selected, a background application sends the user's session tokens with a service request to an associated cloud service resource server. The resource servers processes authenticated requests and return the result to the MFP which completes the selected home application function.

  • Patent number: 12001736
Abstract: A system and method for providing alternative authentication modes in multifunction peripherals includes supplying mobile device management and application authentication to multifunction peripherals without such capabilities. A pluggable authorization module is installed on an incompatible multifunction peripheral by providing a user login on a devices idle screen with an login URL. A user's login credentials are verified by an authentication server that returns an associated username and access permissions once verified. This information is used by the pluggable authorization module to generate a temporary multi-function device services user supplied with the retrieved access permissions. The user can then use the multifunction device services via the temporary user. The temporary user is deleted once the user logs out.

  • Patent number: 11931528
Abstract: A catheter configured to dynamically compensate for the impact of internal and external forces that act upon the catheter during use is disclosed. The catheter may include sensors configured to measure received forces on control cables that extend within the catheter. A controller, coupled to the sensors, may record received force measurements associated with a working position of a distal end of the catheter. The controller may monitor subsequently received forces to identify force variances that may deflect the distal end of the catheter from its working position and may apply a driving force to one or more of the control cables to minimize the force variances. Monitoring received forces during use and applying compensating drive forces may reduce deflection of the distal end of the catheter, increasing the accuracy and precision of an annuloplasty procedure while minimizing potential damage to cardiac tissue.

  • Publication number: 20240089392
Abstract: A system and method for authenticating direct network print jobs includes registering users for direct printing with a cloud print server. Registration information is stored as a mapping record includes a user name, their computer name and an email address associated with their cloud storage account. When a user sends a print job directly to an MFP at its network address, the MFP checks with the cloud server to determine if the user is registered in accordance with their associated mapping record. If so, a permissions list for that user is checked to determine whether the user has print permission. The user's direct print is then released and their document is printed.
