  • Publication number: 20220129538
Abstract: Examples of password integrity scoring are described. In an example, an integrity score for a password may be determined based on a comparison of the password with a set of passwords for multiple users stored in a database. In some examples, the set of passwords may include in-use passwords and previously-used passwords for the multiple users. In some examples, the password may be stored into the database for scoring future passwords.

  • Patent number: 11194558
Abstract: An application-centric modernization and migration (AMM) architecture delivers AMM as a service to enterprises to automate migrating applications to new environments. In this regard, the architecture implements data migration functionality in concert with application code migration, environment provisioning, and post-migration configuration. The joint migration of application data and application code effectively provides a complete migration of an application. The architecture may also define and deliver a GUI portal through which an application owner provides application-specific metadata to drive the AMM.

  • Patent number: 11097845
Abstract: In an illustrative embodiment, an aircraft galley ducting assembly provides airflow to at least one compartment of an aircraft galley monument. The ducting assembly may include a supply air duct that provides a supply airflow path to a compartment that includes an inlet port mounted to a compartment surface. A return air duct may provide an exit airflow path for return air that has circulated throughout the compartment and includes an outlet port mounted to the compartment surface. An airflow adjustment apparatus with an airflow adjustment surface is positioned within the supply airflow path of the supply air duct or the exit airflow path of the return air duct to cause a modification of airflow properties for air passing across or through the airflow adjustment surface.

  • Publication number: 20210190953
Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosure are drawn to apparatuses and methods for a rotating optical reflector. Optical systems may have a limited field of view, and so in order to expand the area that the optical system collects data from, the field of view of the optical system may be scanned across a target area. The present disclosure is directed to a rotating optical reflector, which includes a transmissive layer which refracts light onto a reflective layer, which has a normal which is not parallel to the axis about which the optical reflector is rotated. The optical reflector may be both statically and dynamically balanced, which may allow an increased size of the optical reflector, which in turn may increase the aperture of an optical system (e.g., a lidar system) using the rotating optical reflector.

  • Patent number: 10955325
Abstract: An exemplary paddle includes a central shaft having a first end and a second end. One or more lateral blades extend laterally from the central shaft, and each lateral blade including a geared end positioned adjacent the central shaft and a distal end opposite the geared end. Each lateral blade provides a blade gear at the geared end. A drive shaft is movably positioned within the central shaft and operatively coupled to the one or more lateral blades such that rotation of the drive shaft about a central axis rotates the one or more lateral blades about a corresponding one or more blade axes. The one or more lateral blades are able to move between a horizontal position and a vertical position via independent actuation.

  • Patent number: 10409589
Abstract: An application-centric continuous delivery (ACCID) architecture provides a service that automates the configuration and management of end-to-end application lifecycle management (ALM) tools, through an innovative application-centric metadata model that can be customized through a self-service portal. With the ACCID architecture, IT organizations can provide version management, build automation, test automation, artifact management, infrastructure build, and automated application deployment that is consistent with global IT policy and governance and delivered as a service to organizations. The ACCID architecture references customized application metadata models that describe the application services, ALM requirements, and target infrastructure, to employ end-to-end automation of: the software deployment lifecycle and promotion across application environments, e.g., Development, Test, Pre-Production, and Production environments, using private, public, or hybrid cloud deployment models.

  • Patent number: 10206099
Abstract: Techniques disclosed herein provide a geolocation-based two-factor authentication process. An authentication service receives a first authentication factor associated with an account. Upon validating the first authentication factor, the authentication service requests a second authentication factor from an application executing on a mobile device associated with the account. The second authentication factor identifies at least a location of the mobile device. The authentication service determines a location of the client device. Upon determining that the locations of the mobile device and of the client device are within a specified proximity of one another, the authentication service grants access to the account.
