  • Patent number: 6755751
Abstract: An apparatus for improving a golfer's putting stroke along a line of intended travel of a golf ball. The apparatus enables the golfer to practice positioning his or hear head and feet in selected positions with respect to the golf ball and the line of intended ball travel, as well as the desired positioning of the putter, at the address position. The golfer can also practice the motion of the putting stroke according to either a “straight back/straight through” or “inside the line” stroke motion.

  • Publication number: 20030159598
Abstract: A device is disclosed for washing or rinsing food or nonfood items or objects powered by a water source, such as a kitchen faucet or other continuously-running or intermittent source. A pot-shaped chamber at the center of the device, in combination with a smaller pot-shaped chamber, frontwardly and upwardly mounted to said pot shaped chamber at the center, form the vessel for holding water and the items to be washed. This smaller chamber is counterbalanced by a weighted handle to the rear of the vessel. The vessel is, in turn, mounted on a stand that allows it to pivot about its center of gravity. Water from the water source enters the vessel and washes the items inside. When sufficient water has flowed into the smaller chamber of the vessel to place more weight to the front of the center of gravity than the handle provides behind it, the vessel tips forward, spilling out the water that had been inside it.

  • Patent number: 6278927
Abstract: An improved diagnostic control method for a motor vehicle powertrain including an electronically controlled multi-range transmission and a multi-range transfer case, wherein a default determination of transfer case range enables reliable evaluation of transmission ratio, for powertrain configurations with or without a transfer case range indicator switch. An overall speed ratio is computed according to a ratio of the transmission input speed and the transfer case output speed, and the computed ratio is monitored to identify a period of stable operation at the conclusion of transmission shifting and in steady state operation during which the rate of change of the computed ratio is stable over a predefined interval. If the computed ratio is also deemed to be stable, it is compared with an expected overall ratio based on an assumed speed range (low or high) of the transfer case.

  • Patent number: 4719574
Abstract: The batch control system is used in a batching system for controlling the batching of a fluid material from one container to another container through a conduit having a pump coupled therein, a flowmeter coupled therein and a valve coupled therein. The batch control system includes a microprocessor; a keypad coupled to said microprocessor; a battery backed non-volatile memory coupled to the microprocessor; a serial port in the microprocessor; an alpha-numeric display coupled to the microprocessor; relay control outputs coupled to said microprocessor and to relays for controlling energization of the pump and the valve, respectively; at least one input coupled to the microprocessor for receiving count pulses from the flowmeter; and, outputs for supply data to a station remote from the location of the batch control system, such as a manager's office or a station at the location of one of the containers.
