  • Publication number: 20190279447
Abstract: Methods and systems for vehicle diagnostic detection and communication are disclosed. Specifically, a method to monitor the health of vehicle systems and subsystems and diagnose detected anomalies is provided. In the event an anomaly or unhealthy state is detected within a vehicle, subsystem or component, the system may take a number of actions. In one embodiment, the actions comprise notifying a maintenance provider, a regulatory monitor, and original equipment manufacturer. The system may also maintain a vehicle fleet-wide performance database to enable identification and analysis of systemic fleet-wide data.

  • Publication number: 20180325622
Abstract: This disclosure relates to various systems and methods related to preventative laser-based treatment of a dental tissue; for example, to prevent a patient from forming cavities. In some instances, a laser-based treatment system can generate a laser beam pulse with a fluence profile at a treatment site that results in either an increase in acid resistance of the tissue or removal of carbonate from the tissue, without melting or ablating the tissue. In some instances, the laser-based treatment system can direct the laser beam to various locations within a treatment site according to a temporal and/or spatial pattern, that results in either an increase in acid resistance of the tissue or removal of carbonate from the tissue, without melting or ablating the tissue. Many other systems and techniques for preventative and other laser-based treatment are also described.

  • Publication number: 20170141368
Abstract: Methods, devices, and systems for a universal modular battery and power system are provided. The universal modular battery may include a number of modular interconnection features that enable a number of universal modular batteries to be stacked for use in a universal battery power system. The modular interconnection features facilitate the modular addition or subtraction of batteries in the universal battery power system to, among other things, alter a power capacity of the system. The universal batteries in a power system may be exchanged, swapped, or moved from one power system to another, including power systems associated with different vehicles and/or buildings.

  • Publication number: 20170138758
Abstract: Methods, devices, and systems are provided that track details of power transfers made between power sources and electric vehicles. The power tracking system monitors the source of charges received, how much charge was provided, rates billed for the charging service and other information related to a charging transaction. The tracked power consumption may be used by the power tracking system server to anticipate future charging times, preferences, or locations, and even determine driving habits, and demand for charging in a region or area.

  • Publication number: 20120278078
Abstract: Methods and systems for providing contextually relevant information to a user are provided. In particular, a user context is determined. The determination of the user context can be made from information stored on or entered in a user device. The determined user context is provided to an automatic speech recognition (ASR) engine as a watch list. A voice stream is monitored by the ASR engine. In response to the detection of a word on the watch list by the ASR engine, the context engine is notified. The context engine then modifies a display presented to the user, to provide a selectable item that the user can select to access relevant information.
