  • Patent number: 12480780
Abstract: A mobile device may present a map, the map including a location indication, the location indication indicating a location of a destination. The mobile device may determine that a user has looked away from the mobile device. The mobile device may, in response to determining that the user has looked away from the mobile device, send a direction instruction to a head-mounted device, the direction instruction instructing the head-mounted device to present a direction indication, the direction indication indicating a direction for the user to travel to arrive at the destination, the head-mounted device being mounted on a head of the user.

  • Publication number: 20250284878
Abstract: Described techniques may be utilized to process transcribed text of a transcription stream (302) in an incremental fashion. For example, a first summary of first transcribed text may be generated, without requiring knowledge or receipt of second or subsequent transcribed text, and without requiring detection of a detected or manual summarization trigger. Similarly, a second summary of second transcribed text may be generated without requiring knowledge or receipt of third transcribed text. Accordingly, a summary stream (310) of summarized text may be provided in a stable fashion, without overwriting previously generated summaries as new summaries are generated.

  • Publication number: 20250165728
Abstract: Described techniques may be utilized to process transcribed text of a transcription stream using a summarization ML model to obtain a summary stream. In this way, a live conversation or other live speech may be provided to a user in real-time, using a display of a head-mounted device (HMD) or other suitable device. A user interface may be provided with a toggle or other stream selector for selecting either or both of the transcription stream or the summary stream at a given point in time. Actionable items may be identified within either or both of the transcription stream or the summary stream, and a scroll bar or other action selector may be provided in the user interface to execute corresponding actions.

  • Publication number: 20240359461
Abstract: A therapeutic pelvic region analyzer and method of use thereof that includes an expandable device sized and shaped for insertion into an opening in a pelvic region of a user and a collapsible reservoir fluidly coupled to the expandable device. The collapsible reservoir is configured to temporarily retain and expel an amount of fluid. A tube defining a fluid-flow path for the amount of fluid is between the expandable device and the collapsible reservoir. The therapeutic pelvic region analyzer also includes fluid-flow control valve disposed between the expandable device and the collapsible reservoir. The fluid-flow control valve is operable to provide a selectively variable level of resistance as the amount fluid passes from the expandable device to the collapsible reservoir.

  • Patent number: 12115416
Abstract: A method can include determining, by a head-mounted device based on first data received from a depth-sensing device included in the head-mounted device, that a first distance of the head-mounted device from a landmark is outside a completion range; outputting, based on the determination that the first distance of the head-mounted device from the landmark is outside the completion range from the landmark, an indication that a repetition has yet to be completed; determining, based on second data received from the depth-sensing device, that a second distance of head-mounted device from the landmark is within the completion range; and based on the determination that the second distance of the head-mounted device from the landmark is within the completion range, incrementing a repetition counter and outputting an indication that the repetition has been completed.

  • Patent number: 11633871
Abstract: A system for cutting medical tubing sourced from a spool of tubing uses two actuator groups that each reciprocate along a respective track, which are parallel to each other. Each actuator group has a clamp and a cutting tool which have an operative position along a common axis. The tubing is fed along the common axis to be operated on by the actuator groups. A forward actuator group clamps onto the tubing and is then moved along its track, pulling the tubing. A rearward actuator group then clamps onto the tubing and cuts the tubing. While still clamped onto the tubing, the rearward actuator group is moved forward, pulling more tubing, and the actuator group that was forward is moved to the rearward position and the process is repeated iteratively to produce tubing sections cut to the desired length. The tubing is pressurized and kept under pressure to straighten the tubing.

  • Patent number: 10817066
Abstract: Systems and methods are described that include generating a virtual reality experience in a virtual reality environment, detecting, a first gesture from a first user accessing the virtual reality environment, the first gesture being configured as a command to initiate a privacy mode with a second user accessing the virtual reality environment, and generating a prompt for display to the second user, the prompt corresponding to the command. In response to detecting a second gesture from the second user, the second gesture determined to substantially match the first gesture, initiating the privacy mode between the first user and the second user in the virtual reality environment, and sharing communications occurring in the virtual environment from the first user to the second user and from the second user to the first user while modifying, for users other than the first user and the second user, the communications occurring between the first user and the second user.

  • Patent number: 10649616
Abstract: Systems and methods for a volumetric multi-selection interface for selecting multiple entities in three-dimensional (3D) space are provided. An example method includes generating a selection region within a three-dimensional space and receiving a selection path user input to define a selection path. The method also includes defining a selection volume based on the selection region and the selection path and selecting entities within the 3D space based on the selection volume. In some implementations, an alter selection region user input is received while the selection path is being defined. The size or shape of the selection region may be altered in response thereto.
