  • Publication number: 20230211247
Abstract: A method of modifying a driveline of a toy vehicle is provided. The first step involves disengaging a first end of an original drive shaft of the toy vehicle from a gearbox of the toy vehicle, where the gearbox is in a location such that it limits the travel of the suspension of the toy truck beuase it can come into contact with the differential. The second step involves disengaging a second end of the original drive shaft of the toy vehicle from a transfer box. The third step includes removing the original drive shaft from the toy vehicle. The fourth step involves dismounting the gearbox from the first and second longitudinal beams of the chassis. Next, the transfer box is dismounted from the first and second longitudinal beams of the chassis.

  • Publication number: 20220332051
Abstract: A method for producing a bespoke grip accessory for a handheld apparatus. In one embodiment, the method comprises determining a person who will be gripping the handheld apparatus, encasing a replica of a gripping surface of the handheld apparatus in a conformable mold, obtaining an imprint of a grip profile of the person in the conformable mold encasing the replica gripping surface, hardening the mold comprising the imprint of the grip profile into a hardened mold, scanning the hardened mold to obtain a data file comprising a three-dimensional representation of the grip profile imprinted in the hardened mold, converting the data file to a format suitable for fabricating a grip accessory fitting both the gripping surface and the imprint of the grip profile, and fabricating a bespoke grip accessory based on the converted data file, wherein the fabricating comprises a process further comprising additive manufacturing.

  • Publication number: 20200299955
Abstract: An insulated framing member assembly includes a framing member for constructing the framing a building. An insulating layer is coupled to the framing member and the insulating layer is comprised of a thermally insulating material. A sheathing panel is positioned against the insulating layer and the insulating layer inhibits thermal communication between the framing member and the sheathing panel. In this way the insulating layer enhances thermal efficiency of the building. Additionally, the sheathing panel defines a planar component of the structure of the building.

  • Publication number: 20180368570
Abstract: In an embodiment, a furniture kit for storage, transport, and/or assembly of components for use in forming a piece of furniture, includes a plurality of legs, connectors, and instructions. The legs may be connectable to a top portion of the piece of furniture such that they support the top portion in an elevated position. The connectors may include connectors for attaching a plurality of upper members together, thereby forming the top portion. Moreover, the connectors may include connectors for attaching the legs to the top portion. The instructions may include a cut sheet for cutting the upper members, instructions for connecting the upper members using the connectors, and/or instructions for connecting the steel legs to the top portion. The kit may include a container that may be used to store and/or transport the instructions, legs, and connectors.

  • Patent number: 8943759
Abstract: Dual-side unfolding building modules are described that allow buildings with greater design flexibility, and particularly, large and open work or living spaces while allowing interesting roof designs such as butterfly type roofs. The building modules fold compactly for transport. The building modules can be prefabricated with interior and exterior finishing material thereby reducing the time required for finishing at the building site.

  • Patent number: 8729378
Abstract: As described herein, a sound pickup for musical cymbals includes an integrated assembly attachable to a cymbal stand. The integrated assembly includes a plurality of microphones arranged and electrically connected such that the resulting amplified sound is of optimal quality and of relatively constant loudness regardless of cymbal tilt. In one embodiment, two microphones are used, with the signal phase from one microphone being inverted prior to combination with the signal from the other microphone. The inversion is implemented using an inverter and serves to cancel signals that are in phase with one another and augment signals that are out of phase with one another. This, along with suitable placement of the pickup, exploits the fact that the more desirable components of the cymbal's vibration at the inflection point of the cymbal are out of phase with each other, whereas the less-desirable components are in phase with each other.
