Publication number: 20250033799Abstract: A method includes implementing, via an electronic controller of an aircraft, an extend command received by the electronic controller from a flight control computer to rotate a wingtip of a wing to a flight position. The method includes, in response to a first determination at the electronic controller that rotation of the wingtip stopped before the flight position during implementation of the extend command, sending a first notification signal to the flight control computer from the electronic controller to cause the aircraft to be grounded and to schedule maintenance of the aircraft. The first notification signal includes one or more first error codes. The first notification signal causes the maintenance to include wingtip-to-latch pin drop maintenance responsive to a determination of the electronic controller indicating that a first particular angle of the wingtip relative to a primary portion of the wing is in a latch pin interference range.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 24, 2023Publication date: January 30, 2025Inventors: Patrick McCormick, Christopher Bujnowski, George Moy, Sarah Sheeley, Endri Kerci, Austin Schantz, Paul Ryan Leonard, Caitlin Boxell, Erin Campbell, John W. Publication number: 20250032761Abstract: An intravascular catheter for peri-vascular and/or peri-urethral tissue ablation includes multiple needles advanced through supported guide tubes which expand around a central axis to engage the interior surface of the wall of the renal artery or other vessel of a human body allowing the injection an ablative fluid for ablating tissue, and/or nerve fibers in the outer layer or deep to the outer layer of the vessel, or in prostatic tissue. The system may also include a means to limit and/or adjust the depth of penetration of the ablative fluid into and beyond the tissue of the vessel wall. The catheter may also include structures which provide radial and/or lateral support to the guide tubes so that the guide tubes expand uniformly and maintain their position against the interior surface of the vessel wall as the sharpened injection needles are advanced to penetrate into the vessel wall.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 4, 2024Publication date: January 30, 2025Inventors: David R. Publication number: 20250033797Abstract: A folding wingtip aircraft includes a wing that includes a primary portion and a wingtip. The folding wingtip aircraft includes a folding wingtip system configured to rotate the wingtip relative to the primary portion. The folding wingtip aircraft also includes a flight control computer. The flight control computer is configured to, in response to a first determination that a wingtip position of the wingtip is not in a folded position when a second determination indicates that a last completed command by the folding wingtip system was a fold command, set error codes for the folding wingtip system. The flight control computer is also configured to change a setting to indicate that the folding wingtip aircraft is grounded based on the error codes.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 24, 2023Publication date: January 30, 2025Inventors: Patrick McCormick, Christopher Bujnowski, George Moy, Sarah Sheeley, Endri Kerci, Austin Schantz, Paul Ryan Leonard, Caitlin Boxell, Erin Campbell, John W. Publication number: 20250031181Abstract: A system and a method are disclosed for enabling accurate estimation of a location of a water vessel. In an embodiment, a rescue system transmits a Short Message Service (SMS) message to a user device on the water vessel, the SMS message comprising a selectable option that, when selected, causes a location of the user device to be shared. Based on a selection by a user of the user device of the selectable option, the system receives a plurality of location coordinates from the user device at a plurality of respective times, each respective location coordinate describing a respective location of the user device at its respective time. The system computes an estimated location of the water vessel based on the plurality of location coordinates and an elapsed time between a current time and a time at which a last-received location coordinate was received. The system transmits the estimated location to a responder device.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 2, 2024Publication date: January 23, 2025Inventor: Christopher Ryan Bennett

Publication number: 20250026301Abstract: An inflation device that draws air in from two sources, such as air compressor and ambient air, can inflate an object (e.g., air bag). When a valve is opened, airflow from the air compressor is provided from the inflation device to the object. The airflow may cause airflow from an additional source (e.g., ambient air) into the inflation device. Additionally, a button used to control the valve is also used to initiate power to an assembly that includes pressure sensor (used to measure pressure of the airflow) and a display (used to present the current pressure as measured by the pressure sensor). The inflation device can automatically power down at a predetermined time after the button is released.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 19, 2024Publication date: January 23, 2025Inventors: Matthew Watson SEWELL, Dawn Marie BEERMANN, Thomas Ryan HICKEL, Matthew Neil ALLEN, Christopher Prescott SHAW, Ryan Douglas FOWLER, Byron Alexander QUALLY

Patent number: 12204991Abstract: In a general aspect, a gate is formed for a quantum processor. In some implementations, an arbitrary program is received. The arbitrary program includes a first sequence of quantum logic gates, which includes a parametric XY gate. A native gate set is identified, which includes a set of quantum logic gates associated with a quantum processing unit. A second sequence of quantum logic gates corresponding to the parametric XY gate is identified, which includes a parametric quantum logic gate. Each of the quantum logic gates in the second sequence is selected from the native gate set. A native program is generated. The native program includes a third sequence of quantum logic gates. The third sequence of quantum logic gates corresponds to the first sequence of quantum logic gates and includes the second sequence of quantum logic gates. Patent number: 12183202Abstract: A parking availability predictor system provides a prediction of parking availability that meets a user's specified needs. When the user submits a query for parking availability, he can include desired parking criteria such as location, handicapped status, and desired time to begin parking. The system consults a parking occupancy model which gathers current and historical information about parking occupancy, including parking durations and durations of vacancies between occupancies. The model processes the gathered information into a statistical predictor of parking occupancy and vacancy. The system uses the predictor to predict when parking that meets the user's needs will become available. That prediction, including user-suitable parking locations along with the expected start of their vacancies, is then sent to the user in answer to his query.Type: GrantFiled: February 5, 2024Date of Patent: December 31, 2024Assignee: United Services Automobile Association (USAA)Inventors: Nikhil Dama, Laura Frisbie Evans, Christopher Ryan Haberland, Ting Lu, Simon Phillip Stolarczyk, Kristopher Thomas Williams

Patent number: 12175422Abstract: Examples provides on-hand inventory accuracy using radio frequency identification (RFID) tag data and expected populations of items for a plurality of sub-locations within a scan area. The system calculates a dynamic expected population of items value for each sub-location using item level data and modular display data for an item assortment assigned to a modular display within each sub-location. If the items detected by the RFID tag data match the expected population of items with a minimum confidence level, the system provides user feedback in the form of status indicators and/or accuracy indicators on a user interface. The feedback can also include audio feedback. If a discrepancy is detected, the system requests a rescan of each sub-location having a detected discrepancy. The system disallows update of on-hand inventory data using the RFID tag data if the discrepancy remains unresolved after the second scan and/or requests a manual verification.Type: GrantFiled: March 30, 2022Date of Patent: December 24, 2024Assignee: Walmart Apollo, LLCInventors: Sara Vaught, Hoang-Anh Au, Christopher Ryan Heeney, Marc Fletter, Jeffrey S.
