  • Publication number: 20190023524
Abstract: A hose reel for use with a moveable oil rig is disclosed. The hose reel can hold a hose having a length of greater than 150 feet with a pressure rating of greater than 5,000 psi. As the rig moves, or as otherwise convenient, the hose reel permits the hose to play out as the hose reel rotates. A motor can help to rotate the reel. The reel can have plural sections to accommodate hoses of different sizes.

  • Patent number: 9930897
Abstract: A solid fuel smoker oven having a cooking chamber and a heat source chamber separated by a vertical divider. The heat source chamber includes a gas fired firebox to burn solid fuel. The cooking chamber comprises air channels defined by perforated wall panels comprising calibrated orifices that vary in size from the top of the channel to the bottom to allow air flow and temperatures inside the cooking chamber to be balanced. A fan in the cooking chamber draws heat and smoke emissions from the firebox and directs them into the air channels and recycles the heated air and smoke through the heat source chamber, which limits heat and smoke escape and maximizes temperature stability inside the oven. The fan also functions as a spark arrestor.

  • Patent number: 9448812
Abstract: Schema information is provided with transmission of a data object. When a data object is converted to a transmission format, schema information for the object type is added to the transmission format element. The unmarshalling code uses the schema information to update a schema registry at the receiving end. The schema registry may then be used as a tool for converting the transmission format element back to the data element. The next time an object of that object type is sent to the recipient, the schema information is not added to the transmission format element.

  • Patent number: 9083977
Abstract: A method facilitating random access to segments of compressed data stored in memory includes the steps of receiving a series of data segments, encoding the series of data segments into a series of compressed data segments of variable segment sizes, storing the series of compressed data segments in a memory, and generating a locator for each of the compressed data segments. Each locator is indicative of the location of an associated compressed data segment in the memory. A method for randomly accessing a segment of compressed data includes receiving a request for a compressed data segment, retrieving a locator associated with the requested segment, using the retrieved locator to locate the requested segment in the memory, and retrieving the requested segment from the memory. Thus, compressed data segments can be decoded in a different order than the order they were encoded in. Systems for implementing the methods are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 8640143
Abstract: A computer program product comprises a computer usable medium. The computer usable medium has a computer readable program such that when the computer readable medium is executed on a computer, the computer is caused to receive a request from a calling service. Further, the computer is caused to determine reply-to endpoint information from the request. The reply-to endpoint information indicates the calling service as a calling service response endpoint. In addition, the computer is caused to monitor functionality of the calling service. The computer is also caused to update the reply-to endpoint information to indicate an alternative calling service as the calling service response endpoint if the functionality of the calling service is impaired prior to availability of response data for composition of a response.

  • Patent number: 8006240
Abstract: A computer implemented method, apparatus, and computer usable program code for updating multiple concurrent versions of shared artifact libraries. Shared artifact libraries are associated with a consuming application for establishing shared artifact libraries upon which the consuming application has a dependency for artifacts. A snapshot of the shared artifact libraries associated with the consuming application in an active session is created in response to starting a session. The shared artifact libraries are updated in response to new versions and updates of the shared artifact libraries becoming available. Artifacts are dispensed from the shared artifact libraries to the consuming application based on the snapshot of the session.
