  • Patent number: 12189625
Abstract: A multi-cluster computing system which includes a query result caching system is presented. The multi-cluster computing system may include a data processing service and client devices communicatively coupled over a network. The data processing service may include a control layer and a data layer. The control layer may be configured to receive and process requests from the client devices and manage resources in the data layer. The data layer may be configured to include instances of clusters of computing resources for executing jobs. The data layer may include a data storage system, which further includes a remote query result cache Store. The query result cache store may include a cloud storage query result cache which stores data associated with results of previously executed requests. As such, when a cluster encounters a previously executed request, the cluster may efficiently retrieve the cached result of the request from the in-memory query result cache or the cloud storage query result cache.

  • Patent number: 12188182
Abstract: The multi-ply tissue products that are both durable and dispersible may be manufactured using a creping process that employs a non-crosslinked vinyl acetate-ethylene polymer as a creping agent. The products generally have a Slosh time less than 2 minutes, such as less than about 60 seconds, such as less than about 45 seconds. Surprisingly, the foregoing Slosh times are achieved despite the tissue products having relatively high cross-machine direction (CD) wet tensile strength, such as greater than about 100 g/3?. Typically, increasing wet tensile strength, particularly wet CD tensile strength, negatively effects dispersability and increases Slosh time. Despite this trend, the multi-ply tissue products have a relatively high degree of wet strength and good dispersability.

  • Publication number: 20240401399
Abstract: A fenestration system includes one or more of a light modulation controller or ventilation modulation controller. The light modulation controller is in communication with at least one light modulation element of a fenestration assembly having a frame and a panel. The light modulation controller includes a light prescription module configured to provide a specified light prescription for the building interior. A lighting difference module is configured to determine a prescription difference between the specified light prescription and ambient light. A dynamic light module of the light modulation controller operates the at least one light modulation element according to the prescription difference. The ventilation modulation controller is in communication with at least one operator configured to open and close the panel.

  • Patent number: 12159128
Abstract: Computing systems, for example, multi-tenant systems deploy software artifacts in data centers created in a cloud platform using a cloud platform infrastructure language that is cloud platform independent. The system receives a declarative specification for creating a datacenter on a cloud platform. The system generates an aggregate pipeline comprising a hierarchy of pipelines. The system generates an aggregate deployment version map associating data center entities of the data center with versions of software artifacts targeted for deployment on the datacenter entities. The system collects a set of software artifacts according to the aggregate deployment version map. The system executes the aggregate pipeline in conjunction with the aggregate deployment version map to create the datacenter in accordance with the cloud platform independent declarative specification.

  • Patent number: 12129601
Abstract: Disclosed are non-treated, creped tissue webs, and tissue products produced therefrom, having low stiffness and surface lint. The inventive products may be produced by a print creping process adapted to dispose a non-crosslinked latex polymer on at least one of the outer surfaces of the tissue product. The non-crosslinked latex polymer creping composition does not negatively affect stiffness such that the products generally have a Stiffness Index less than about 5.0, such as from about 2.5 to about 5.0.

  • Patent number: 12115632
Abstract: This invention is directed to a filter removal tool comprising: a cup configured to engage with a filter so that rotating the cup rotates the filter; an opening in a shaft or cup and extending through the cup so that when a puncture cap that can be received into the cup punctures the filter, fluid flows from the filter out of the cup. The shaft can transition from a first position to a second position wherein the puncture cap can puncture the filter in the second position. A wrench or other tool can be used to remove the filter using the cup. The cup can be secured to the filter with a magnet or collet assembly. A tube can be connected to the cup to direct fluid that exits the filter. An impact member can be used to force the puncture cap into the filter.
