  • Patent number: 10782861
Abstract: In embodiments of objects alignment and distribution layout, an object layout interface includes objects displayed for selection and manipulation. A layout algorithm receives a reposition input for a selected object in the object layout interface, and determines a distribution layout and/or an alignment layout of the objects. The layout algorithm positions the selected object equidistant between at least two of the objects or at a distance from a closest one of the objects, the distance being an equivalent distance of a space between the at least two objects. The space between the objects is displayed as positive space that visually indicates the equidistance between the objects. Alternatively or in addition, the layout algorithm positions the selected object in alignment with multiple objects, and an alignment indication, such as an edge line and/or a distance measurement, is displayed for each instance of the selected object being aligned with the multiple objects.

  • Publication number: 20170332621
Abstract: A decoy deployment and water fowl retrieval apparatus and method. The apparatus has a flotation frame configured with a motor providing propulsion and directional control to the frame. One or more water fowl decoys may be attached to the frame. The flotation frame has a forwardly facing opening and a net disposed to scoop a downed waterfowl into the scoop. The apparatus is controlled by a radio frequency remote controller. The apparatus may tow one or more decoys in a decoy display to a desired position. The apparatus may also be operated as a decoy to simulate water fowl swimming on a body of water.

  • Publication number: 20160267413
Abstract: A technique includes clustering projects that include a new project and previous projects based on relationships between users and the previous projects to identify a project cluster containing the new project. The technique includes clustering the users based on relationships between the users and permissions that were assigned to the users to access resources for previous projects. The technique further includes assigning permissions for the users assigned to the new project to access resources associated with the new project based at least in part on the clustering of users and the clustering of projects.

  • Patent number: 9216336
Abstract: This invention includes a golf tee portion with a shaft and two ends. One end of that portion includes a ball receiving end and one end includes a cavity portion for receiving a magnetic material. There is a cylindrical ball marker portion that goes between the golf tee portion and the base and is attracted to both. Last there is a grounded cylindrical base with two ends. One end can include a stem or series of stems so it can adhere in the ground, and one end is equipped with two cavities. One cavity is larger for placing a magnetic material which is attracted to the golf tee portion, and the removable ball marker, and a smaller cavity for magnetic material so the material in the larger cavity is held but removable. This design allows less friction on golf drives, and dual usage as a ball marker on the green.

  • Publication number: 20060267640
Abstract: A hybrid numeric-analog clock synchronizer, for establishing a clock or carrier locked to a timing reference. The clock may include a framing component. The reference may have a low update rate. The synchronizer achieves high jitter rejection, low phase noise and wide frequency range. It can be integrated on chip. It may comprise a numeric time-locked loop (TLL) with an analog phase-locked loop (PLL). Moreover a high-performance number-controlled oscillator (NCO), for creating an event clock from a master clock according to a period control signal. It processes edge times rather than period values, allowing direct control of the spectrum and peak amplitude of the justification jitter. Moreover a combined clock-and-frame asynchrony detector, for measuring the phase or time offset between composite signals. It responds e.g. to event clocks and frame syncs, enabling frame locking with loop bandwidths greater than the frame rate.

  • Publication number: 20060260493
Abstract: A conductive ink containing conductive, metallic particulates is printed onto a substrate by waterless printing on a lithographic press using a relief image plate in a flexographic coating unit or in a lithographic printing unit without fountain solution to provide a layer of conductive print on the substrate. The other units of a sheetfed press may be used to print decorative ink, including full-color printing, further conductive layers, and/or dielectric materials.
