  • Patent number: 11971256
Abstract: A guided cold-atom inertial sensor system comprises an atom trap integrated platform, a laser system, a magnetic field system, a control system, and a computing system. The laser system and magnetic field system are adapted to form a magneto-optical trap (MOT) about a suspended waveguide of the atom trap integrated platform made of membrane integrated photonics. After loading cold atoms from a MOT, the photonic atom trap integrated platform generates one-dimensional guided atoms with an evanescent field optical dipole trap (EF-ODT) along the optical waveguide to create guided atomic accelerometers/gyroscopes. Motion of atomic wavepackets in a superposition state is created along the guided atom geometry by way of state-dependent momentum kicks. The light-pulse sequence of guided atom interferometry splits, redirects, and recombines atomic wavepackets, which allows measurement of atom interference fringes sensitive to inertial forces via a probe laser.

  • Patent number: 11973664
Abstract: The disclosure reveals a system and approach for remote health monitoring and diagnostics of room controllers, networks and devices. A master room controller may be used to open a system health page or a diagnostic page for other controllers. A system health page may provide an overview of virtually all of the other room controllers. A tool of the present system may be used to trouble shoot issues remotely at another room controller in lieu of doing a visit to the respective room controller. A user may navigate from the system health page to virtually any place on the room controller to diagnose issues. The navigation may be done by hyper linking from the system health page. The healthy controllers may be hidden from the page so that the unhealthy systems can be viewed in one shot.

  • Publication number: 20240087222
Abstract: An artificial intelligence framework is described that incorporates a number of neural networks and a number of transformers for converting a two-dimensional image into three-dimensional semantic information. Neural networks convert one or more images into a set of image feature maps, depth information associated with the one or more images, and query proposals based on the depth information. A first transformer implements a cross-attention mechanism to process the set of image feature maps in accordance with the query proposals. The output of the first transformer is combined with a mask token to generate initial voxel features of the scene. A second transformer implements a self-attention mechanism to convert the initial voxel features into refined voxel features, which are up-sampled and processed by a lightweight neural network to generate the three-dimensional semantic information, which may be used by, e.g., an autonomous vehicle for various advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) functions.

  • Patent number: 11914188
Abstract: An atom trap integrated platform (ATIP) comprises a substrate, a membrane, and a suspended waveguide. The substrate has an opening formed therein. The membrane extends across a portion of the substrate opening. The suspended waveguide is formed on the membrane such that the suspended waveguide extends from a first edge of the substrate to a second edge. A magneto-optical trap (MOT) is formed around the suspended waveguide by emitting a plurality of cooling beams and a repump through the substrate opening. Evanescent fields are established above the suspended waveguide by coupling two trapping beams through the suspended waveguide, which trapping beams are red-detuned and blue-detuned with respect to the resonant optical transition of the atoms. By forming the MOT within the evanescent fields, an evanescent field optical trap (EFOT) is formed.
