    Abstract: The present invention proposes a reflective type liquid crystal projection system, which comprises an incident light source providing an S-polarization light beam or a P-polarization light beam as the incident light beam. A polarization of color-splitting device having a first polarization of color splitter and a second polarization of color splitter is used to split the incident light beam of three primary colors into two sets of light beams, which respectively penetrate through or are reflected. The two sets of light beams split by the first polarization of color splitter are reflected by two reflective mirrors, traverse two polarizing plates arranged between the reflective mirrors and the second polarization of color splitter, and are then incident on the second polarization of color splitter. At least a retarder is arranged between the reflective mirrors and the polarization of color-splitting device.

    Abstract: A gas phase polymerization of ethylene is disclosed. The process uses a single-site catalyst containing at least one heteroatomic ligand selected from boraaryl, azaborolinyl, pyridinyl, pyrrolyl, indolyl, indenoindolyl, carbazolyl, and quinolinyl. The catalysts are immobilized onto a support. The process comprises polymerizing an ethylene that contains from about 5 to about 15 mole % of a C3-C10 &agr;-olefin and gives polyethylene having a reduced viscosity.

    Abstract: An ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) is disclosed. The UHMWPE has a weight average molecular weight (Mw) greater than about 3,000,000 and molecular weight distribution less than about 5. A process for making the UHMWPE is also disclosed. The process is performed with a heteroatomic ligand-containing single-site catalyst in the presence of a non-alumoxane activator, but in the absence of an &agr;-olefin, an aromatic solvent, and hydrogen.

    Abstract: A tube connector includes a pair of matching press members, each having an enlarged exposed portion and at least two angularly spaced insert portions extending from the exposed portion. The insert portions of one press member form cylindrical members with the insert portions of the other press member. Each cylindrical member formed is inserted into one end of a respective tube such that a distal end of the respective tube abuts against the exposed portion of the press members. The exposed portion of each press member is provided with a counterbore having a truncated conical portion and a cylindrical portion. The head portion of a bolt and a nut, which engages the threaded shaft portion of the bolt, are each received in the truncated conical portion of the counterbore in a respective one of the press members.
